Your yardage, on your wrist. The watch now shows the distance to the centre of the green, with front and back beneath it, and moves from hole to hole on its own as you walk. If you've been carrying a separate GPS device on the other wrist, you can leave it home. Score the hole without reaching for your phone. The watch builds each hole's score from the shots it already detected. Putts get their own button — one tap adds the stroke and the putt together, and Undo works on both. On a good day it's the only thing you touch all round. A rhythm you can actually swing to. The tempo trainer has a new count-in mode: a steady 1-2-3 pulse set to your own backswing, so you start moving on the beat instead of reacting to a tone after it. It's on the watch and on the web under Practice Tools. Practice that counts strikes, not swings. A shot on the watch practice face now means a detected ball strike, so rehearsal swings no longer pad your session. Each shot carries its own tempo, and everything saves as one session when you tap Stop. Tempo you can trust. Pausing at the top was being counted as part of the downswing, which meant slowing down made your ratio look worse — the opposite of the drill. The hold is now measured on its own, so the number moves the way it should. Fixes that reach your scorecard. The adjusted gross score you post to GHIN was wrong on nine-hole rounds. Shots could occasionally file against the wrong hole, or against a previous round. Putts near the green weren't being detected at all. All fixed. Apple subscribers get the free month too.
