Privacy & Security Enhancements • Smarter Face ID Setup: Enabling Face ID now verifies your identity immediately before turning on, and smoothly applies to your next session rather than locking you out mid-conversation. • Reliable Unlocking: Upgraded the lock screen logic so the unlock button is more responsive, shows authentication progress, and correctly falls back to your device passcode if biometrics are unavailable. • App Switcher Privacy: Your messages are now properly blurred and hidden when viewing Unsent in the iOS app switcher. Under the Hood (Stability & Bug Fixes) • Smoother Scrolling: We rebuilt the chat rendering engine from the ground up. You can now send and scroll through long texts without any issues. • Crash Prevention & Data Integrity: Squashed several hidden bugs that could cause crashes during launch or when clearing data. Drafts and scroll positions are now safely preserved if a mass-deletion fails. • Intelligent Error Handling: The app is now much smarter about catching and explaining issues. • General Polish: Fixed issues with clearing categories, ensured pinned and archived chats save correctly every time, prevented invisible blank contact names, and ensured old message drafts are properly wiped when a chat is deleted.
