This is a big one. Truing has been rebuilt from the ground up, Calypso's Gunship Grey line (firmware 2.0) is supported, and there's a new Devices page. TRUING • A guided workflow walks you through truing far-first (about 1000, then 800, then 600 yards for PRS) and suggests your next verify distance. • Group truing: enter a group of shots at each range and true off the group instead of a single round. Log a chrono MV per shot and the group's average MV is saved. • After your first truing point, Verify Shot can recommend a BC update. It also offers to update your profile MV when your truing MV differs. • If a single fixed BC predicts your dope as well as the Mach-based curve, QuickDOPE uses the simpler fixed BC. • Truing now works at the 0.1 mil resolution most turrets use, and sets a minimum truing distance for your profile. • Reminders to capture direction of fire, plus zero confirmation steps in the truing instructions. • Changing BC or drag model on a trued profile now rebuilds the truing correctly. "Different bullet?" keeps your original profile and starts the new bullet on a copy. CALYPSO AND DEVICES • Support for Calypso's Gunship Grey line (firmware 2.0), including wind meters and the WeatherDot. • A Calypso All-In-One can now supply temperature, humidity and pressure. • Redesigned Devices page with each device's model, firmware and battery level, plus a list of your last 30 connected devices. • Faster, more dependable Bluetooth connecting and reconnecting. • Kestrel, WeatherDot and Calypso environment data no longer drops out above about 6,400 ft. WIND • Switchy wind: set LO/MID/HI limits on the manual wind dial with two handles, or grab the live 2-minute spread in one tap. Both carry to your EZ Sign and eDOPE cards. • Show wind speeds in the W1–W5 column headers (on by default). • Fixed: typing 15 into W1 could save 1.1 mph. EZ SIGN AND eDOPE CARDS • Add typed text notes anywhere on a card and edit them later. • Comp mode combines the card buttons into a single Card button. • Card type now lives in Settings and shows in the card title. • You'll get a clear message if you present the wrong card type. WEATHER • Auto-weather now runs through QuickDOPE's own weather service for steadier updates. • The app holds up much better with weak or no cell service. ALSO NEW • A dedicated Settings page. Preferences have moved out of Account. • Mover Speed Calculator: choose MIL or MOA, set a default travel distance, and enter decimals with a comma. • Full-screen iPad support. • Apple Watch stage countdown callouts are now on time. • Fixes for Verify Shot on small screens, manual azimuth entry, and profile list scrolling. • Security and stability improvements.
