Stuck in a crowded Metro Manila train and not sure which station you’re at?
TrenKo is a smart train companion built for the Metro Manila rail system. It automatically detects the station you’re near, tracks your journey in real time, and tells you how many stops are left—so you always know when to get ready or get off.
Using Live Activities, notifications, and lock screen updates, TrenKo keeps you informed even when your phone is locked or tucked away.

TrenKo is designed to be effortless:
1. Open the app and let TrenKo detect the stations nearest to your location,
2. Choose your destination and start your trip
That’s it. TrenKo automatically tracks your progress, shows upcoming stops, transfer points, and estimated fares as you move along the line.
• Key Features •
Automatic Station Detection
TrenKo detects nearby stations using your location and shows your current or next station, nearby stops, and transfer information. When the train is moving, it switches to between-station updates, showing when you’re approaching the next station and how long it will take to get there.
Live Activities, Dynamic Island & Lock Screen Updates
Get station alerts, arrival reminders, and trip progress through Live Activities even with your phone locked.
Notifications
TrenKo notifies you when you’re one stop away from your destination or transfer, and alerts you when you’ve arrived at the station where you need to get off. Customizability is important, so you can turn specific notifications on or off in the settings.
Real-Time Trip Guidance
See how many stations are left and receive alerts for upcoming stops and transfers, helping you avoid missed exits.

Line Explorer

TrenKo processes trip and station data on your device. Your location is used only to detect nearby stations and track your journey, and is never stored or shared. When you end your trip, location usage and Live Activities stop immediately.

TrenKo is completely free to use, with no ads, paywalls, or feature limits.

• Made by an Independent Developer •
TrenKo is built entirely by a single developer. My name is Enrico, and this app is a passion project I’ve wanted to make for a long time, inspired by my own daily commute.
As I started commuting more often, I realized how helpful it would be to always know where I was on the line, how many stops were left, and when to prepare to get off especially during crowded rides. TrenKo was created to solve that exact problem.
The app continues to improve through real-world use and user feedback, with the goal of making train commuting in Metro Manila simpler and less stressful.
