You know what you're doing.
You've opened Instagram, WhatsApp, Email, all of them, four times in ten minutes. Nothing new. You knew there wouldn't be. Opened them anyway.
You need something for your hands to do. Tap, scroll, swipe, repeat.
Just Fidgeting is that loop, minus the doom.
What It Is
No feed. No likes. No notifications. Just colored squares. Each one opens something different. Cards to swipe. Switches to flip. Sliders to adjust. Lists to scroll.
It's fidgeting. Nothing else.
How It Works
Open the app and start fidgeting immediately. Shake your phone to try something different. Each interaction feels satisfying but leads nowhere.
Eventually you catch yourself. "Oh. I'm just moving my fingers."
Then you decide. Keep going, or put it down.
Features
Different fidget types - swipe, tap, drag, toggle, and more
Beautiful color palettes to choose from
Gentle awareness messages (optional)
Works offline, no account needed
No tracking, no ads, no data collection
Not a Productivity App
We're not fixing you. You're not broken. Sometimes you just need to fidget.
This isn't about blocking your phone or measuring your screen time or making you feel guilty. It's about giving your hands something harmless to do when they reach for your phone out of habit.
Like a stress ball for your phone.
Just the app I needed while listening to podcast to give my something to do with my fingers. I hope it remains ad free forever
Just Fidgeting is now on iPad — because pointless tapping deserves a bigger canvas.
What's new:
• Even more awareness messages to lovingly interrupt your scrolling
• Buttons that boop back when you press them
• Lots of little tweaks so everything sits just right on the bigger screen
Still no doom. Still just fidgeting.
