By moving away from traditional betting models, SideAction focuses on the social agreement, allowing you to challenge friends directly in a transparent, peer-to-peer environment where the terms are set by you, not a house.
The heart of the SideAction experience is our dual-approval integrity system, which ensures every wager is honest and fair. Unlike traditional platforms where a central authority dictates outcomes, SideAction requires both the creator and the participants to agree on the odds and the final result. When you challenge a friend to a bet, it remains in a "Pending" state until they review and approve the terms. This mutual handshake logic prevents disputes and ensures that every win is earned through transparent agreement. To further maintain fairness, creators must set specific Betting Windows for every event. This ensures that all action is locked in before a competition begins—such as closing all wagers before a 1:00 PM tee-time—preventing "past-posting" and maintaining the integrity of the game.
To maintain a healthy social ecosystem and prevent exploitable behavior, we have implemented strict algorithmic caps on all wagering activity. By limiting single-bet odds to +400 and parlay odds to +1000, we ensure that the platform remains focused on realistic, skill-based outcomes. These safeguards, combined with a maximum wager limit (500c), keep the competition friendly and balanced. Our system is designed to prevent the accumulation of unrealistic credit balances, ensuring the leaderboard stays competitive for everyone.

SideAction is strictly a social competition platform. All wagers are placed using virtual Credits that are earned or purchased via Apple’s In-App Purchase system. These Credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, or exchanged for real-world currency or goods. By removing financial risk and focusing on social reward and mutual approval, SideAction provides a safe, fun, and compliant environment for friends to challenge each other.
