New in 1.3.0 • Entity states now use Home Assistant's own wording in your Home Assistant language. For example, a person who is away shows "Away" instead of "not_home". • Climate, humidifier and water heater modes, and what a thermostat is currently doing, now match Home Assistant. • Sensor text such as "Wi-Fi" is shown exactly as Home Assistant reports it. • Custom cards HA Dash doesn't support yet show a basic view labelled with the card type, and other cards it can't display show a placeholder instead of disappearing. Turn this off in Settings → Display → Show Unsupported Cards. • Fixed overlapping text on light cards and a crowded timer button row. • Fixed crashes caused by some unusual card configurations. New in 1.2.7 • Fixed a crash that could occur when returning to HA Dash, or opening it, while a dashboard showed a live camera stream. • HA Dash now reopens each dashboard on the view you last selected, instead of always starting on the first view. • Fixed a crash on tile cards that use an area or device as their name. • Card and row names can now use Home Assistant's name options: area, device, floor, entity, custom text, or a combination. • Thermostats set to show the current temperature as the main number now keep it there while you adjust the target, and the target updates live as you drag. • The target temperature no longer jumps back briefly when Home Assistant sends an update just after you change it. New in 1.2.6 • Turn an iPhone or iPad into a local H.264/AAC camera and microphone stream for Home Assistant. • Choose the front or rear camera, or stream both at once on supported devices. • Stream to two clients at once, adjust quality to suit the device, and keep the picture aligned with device orientation. • Each device gets a unique password. RTSP clients must authenticate before capture begins; passwords can be rotated at any time. • Register protected Generic Camera entries directly with Home Assistant using an administrator account. • An always-visible “Camera + mic live” indicator appears over the dashboard and kiosk mode whenever capture is active; tap it to stop. • Home Assistant can now control an open, connected dashboard over the local WebSocket channel: wake or dim the screen, set brightness, navigate dashboards and views, change appearance or kiosk mode, reload, and show notification banners. • Fixed screen-on for open kiosk dashboards so it follows Wake on Touch and restarts the one-minute timer. Local Camera Stream is off by default, requires Camera and Microphone permission, and stops when HA Dash leaves the foreground or the last viewer disconnects. RTSP traffic is password-protected but not encrypted. Use it only on a trusted local network and never forward ports 8554 or 8555. The App Store build requires iOS 15 or later. The separate universal developer build remains compatible with iOS 9.3.3 and later; Local Camera Stream requires iOS 10.3.3 or later in that product.

Improved Home Assistant dashboard rendering and reliability: • Markdown cards now display headings, lists, emphasis and code correctly. • Home Assistant templates now render in Markdown cards, including nested layouts, and recover after reconnecting. • Conditional cards and entity rows update reliably as your dashboard changes. • Fixed alarm mode labels that could disappear after scrolling. • Improved compatibility with older iPads and iPhones.

This update adds dual-setpoint thermostat controls for heat_cool mode, introduces wake-on-touch dimming for kiosk displays, and includes reliability fixes for thermostat updates and kiosk screen restoration.
