Long lists are quick now Opening a task on a long list used to take over a second, and sometimes four. It now takes a fraction of a second however many tasks you have, and scrolling and dragging stay smooth on lists of thousands. Dragging tasks around has been tidied up too: a task you drag no longer leaves a gap behind it, and a long drag that scrolls down the screen now drops where you put it. A simpler way to set times Every time in the app is now set the same way — tap the time, then roll the wheel. You can choose the interval it moves in under Settings, so you can step in five minutes, fifteen, or whatever suits you. The wheel now opens next to the time you tapped and sits above everything else, rather than slipping behind the panel. Choosing a time zone opens the list into view instead of below the fold. And a time that is genuinely optional, like the one on a plan, can be cleared again once set. Task templates you can edit Saved task templates can now be changed rather than deleted and rebuilt, and they always hand back a fresh, unticked checklist. Templates are offered everywhere you add a task, with a short explanation if you have not made one yet. Titles you can still see while you type them Long titles in notes and tasks no longer scroll out of sight as you write. The title box grows onto more lines instead, and you can choose how tall it is allowed to get under Settings, then Tasks or Notes, "Title lines while editing".

New: info notes in Plans. Drop a dated note anywhere in a trip — an idea, a reminder, a document. Tap "Add trip note or comment" on any line to slot one in exactly where you want it. Each note takes formatted text, and on a shared trip everyone can add and reply. Attaching files works from the iPhone and Mac apps. You can delete a trip note too. Open it and tap Delete, or swipe the note across. Traskio asks first, and tells you if any photos or documents will be deleted along with it. You can now connect an Apple iCloud or other CalDAV calendar — it's available to everyone. If you have more than one calendar connected, you can choose which one each new appointment or task goes to, instead of everything going to your default. Calendar syncing is more dependable too: repeating events from Apple Calendar now appear correctly, timed events keep the right time zone wherever you are, and connecting a calendar takes you straight to choosing which ones to sync. When you quick-add an event, it now runs for 30 minutes unless you say otherwise. Help & Support and the Roadmap are now in your account menu, and you can send suggestions and bug reports straight from the app. A "Back to Traskio" bar returns you to the screen you came from. Your recent searches now stay in step across your devices. A search you make on your phone shows up on your iPad and Mac, and clearing one from the list clears it everywhere. You can now attach a PDF or any other document to a comment, not just a photo. Larger files are accepted too — up to 50 MB, the same as attaching to the task itself. Date and time boxes now fit properly on iPhone everywhere they appear — adding a booking, editing a trip, reviewing forwarded bookings, appointments and reminders. Screens no longer slide sideways when you drag them. Menus in the top bar now close when you tap or click anywhere else on the page, instead of waiting for you to tap the menu button a second time. If you are using a keyboard, Escape closes them too. Fixed an issue where a multi-page PDF attached to a note could go blank a moment after opening on iPhone. Fixed an issue that could stop a trip being shared when it had booking confirmations attached to it. Fixed an issue where adding a note could leave a band of empty space at the bottom of the screen until you scrolled or reopened the trip. Fixed a stray "changes failed to sync" message that could appear on the Support page.

New: List creator. Turn a block of text into separate cards or tasks, a checklist, or a tick-box list. Paste your list into a card, task or note and Traskio splits it into items for you. Tasks made this way keep the same due date as the task you split. A Pro feature. Fixed an issue where the Due date & time box under a booking could show a time an hour later than the booking itself. Both now show the time exactly as your confirmation states it, wherever you are in the world.

Traskio now syncs with Google Calendar. Connect your account under Settings → Calendars and your events appear alongside your tasks. The free plan connects one calendar and shows its events in Traskio; Pro adds two-way sync — changes you make in Traskio go back to Google — and lets you connect more than one. You can now add appointments to your calendar, alongside your tasks: a dentist visit, a meeting, a weekend away. Tap the + on a day, or the + button anywhere in the app, and choose Appointment. Appointments show on the month, week and day views, sync across your devices, and work offline. You can now share a trip with another Traskio user. Open a trip, tap Share, and invite them by email — they get their own copy that stays in sync, and either of you can add and edit bookings. Tickets, boarding passes and confirmations travel with it, so they can open them on their own device. When the trip is no longer shared, everyone keeps their own copy. Guests ask before removing a booking, so nothing disappears from your trip without you agreeing. You'll see the request on the trip and in a prompt at the top of Plans. If you always travel with the same people, add them under Settings → Plans, and they'll be ticked ready on every new trip you create. People you've shared with before also appear under the email box when you invite someone. You can also invite someone to a board by email, and they can accept even if they've never used Traskio before. Tapping a booking in Plans now opens that booking straight away, instead of opening the trip and leaving you to tap it a second time. Fixed an issue where the sign-in button could sit behind the keyboard. Traskio starts up faster, and the first-run screen now shows honest progress instead of appearing to stall.

Settings and Sign Out have moved to the top-right of the Notes screen, so they're in the same place as on every other screen. The Settings screen now shows its full list of sections as soon as you open it, so it's easier to find the setting you're after. Fixed an issue where comments on a card didn't work on a board that someone had shared with you.

Your task list opens much faster, especially if you have a lot of tasks, and stays smooth as you scroll and tap. Fixed an issue where dragging a task could open the search box when you let go. Swiping a task sideways is more reliable and no longer gets confused with scrolling. The month calendar now shows what's actually on each day by name, with a tap to see the rest — instead of dots. Each day fits as many as the space allows. The week view gives each day its own row, with times, so you can read a whole week at a glance. Fixed an issue where moving a task to a different day could change the time it was due. Search is faster and more reliable, especially on iPhone. Notes can now be saved as a PDF. Open a note and use the new PDF button to download it, view it, or email it to someone. The PDF keeps your note's layout — headings, bullet points, tick boxes, tables and photos all appear where you put them. Fixed an issue where a booking you forwarded to Plans also showed up in your Inbox. When a booking you forward to Plans arrives, Traskio now tells you straight away and offers to import it, wherever you are in the app. Opening Plans takes you to it rather than scrolling past it. Fixed an issue where tapping Download on a file kept in iCloud did nothing on iPhone. Files your iPhone had moved off the device to save space are now fetched when you open them. Fixed an issue where tapping a day in the calendar could show what was there a moment earlier rather than what's there now. Your recent searches sync between devices again, and tapping one narrows the list to that search.

Fixed an issue where two-factor authentication wasn't always asked for at sign-in. In Tasks, the shift buttons are now called "Snooze", so it's clearer what they do. In Plans, you can now add a ferry as a booking type. Setting a due time and an end time now use the same time picker. Fixed an issue where backing up to Google Drive could fail to finish on iPhone and iPad. On Apple Watch, we've fixed an issue where deleted tasks could still appear in your Overdue list.

A CALENDAR OF ITS OWN Calendar is now its own section, alongside Tasks, Notes, Plans and Boards, with day, week and month views. Your trip bookings turn up there on their own. BLOCK OUT YOUR DAY Tasks can now say how long they take. Switch on "Block out time in your calendar" in Settings > Tasks, and day and week become an hour-by-hour grid where every task is drawn as a block as tall as it is long — so a morning with two meetings and a report to write looks like one. Drag a block to move it. Drag its bottom edge to make it longer. Everything snaps to fifteen minutes. Set a finish time and the length works itself out, or set the length and the finish time follows. It is free on every plan, and it starts switched off, so nothing changes until you want it to. ALSO IN THIS VERSION Setting a due time and an end time now use the same time picker. We have fixed a few settings that were showing as locked when they should not have been. On Apple Watch, we have fixed an issue where deleted tasks could still appear in your Overdue list.
