The new splash page doesn’t have my preferred gym on it, and when I looked around in the app I could see which gyms I have selected as favorites but there’s no way to see any information about their hours or the amenities they have available or anything like that. I have to google and go online, which defeats much of the purpose of having an app in the first place. I don’t need or want to talk to some dumb AI bot, I want to know when the gym closes today.

There is no list of gym locations and their hours. That’s like inviting someone to a party but leaving the location and date off the invite. PLEASE add these back in, it’s crazy useful especially around holidays or if I’m going to a location I don’t visit often. The only way to get this info in the app is to needlessly waste water and 30-60 seconds waiting for the AI chat every time I need to check. And truthfully no one asked for AI in their gym app—I can’t understand why that was a prioritized feature and not location hours and contact info. AI does not need to be everywhere if it’s not useful everywhere. There are some great additions like the newly available programming, which is welcome. I would also love to see a promotions section that includes both the gym’s active promotions and the partner business promotions (such as Sports Basement discounts).

Old version of the app had my invoice/receipt for monthly service. Now there’s nothing that shows that I paid or how much I paid. And those invoices /receipts are not emailed either, illegal in the state of California to charge for a service and not provide a receipt.I have reached out via email and on social media. No response. Terrible customer service.

Like other reviews, I have to agree. Old app wasn’t perfect, but provided essential info like classes and gym hours immediately. New app is cluttered with ads and useless stuff making it harder to find what you actually need to know. I don’t need yet another “gen AI” bot. Highly recommend bringing back the other app that served its purpose well!
