Your pets' medications, vet visits and weigh-ins are still the heart of PetPill. This update adds the first number that says whether a medication is working. BREATHING RATE For a pet on heart or lung medication, the resting breathing rate is the number the clinic asks for. Switch on Breathing rate under Health on your pet's page, set your threshold and tap Count breaths: one tap starts a 30- or 60-second timer, then one tap per breath, and the rate is charted against the line you set. The history chart marks the days a dose changed, so you can see whether the last change helped, and readings go into the vet report. PetPill draws the line and colours a reading above it — it never gives advice. Comes with Pro. LOG A DOSE FROM ITS REMINDER Press and hold a Dose Reminder for Mark as given, Remind in 15 min and Skip. The dose is recorded without unlocking your phone, and the reminder goes quiet on everyone else's phone in your household. Thank you for using PetPill. Your pets' medications, vet visits and weigh-ins are still the heart of PetPill. This update is about the gaps that creep into the record. Doses nobody logged now have somewhere to go. The History button on Today counts them, and opening History lets you mark each one given or skipped — or answer a whole day in one tap. Your pet's weight chart can carry a target. Add a goal weight and it's drawn as a dashed line to measure each weigh-in against; nothing is judged against it and no reminder is ever sent. If you've set a weigh-in schedule, a due weigh-in now shows up on Today too. Both come with Pro. The small Next Dose widget can log the dose itself. One tap on Give records it without opening the app, and the widget moves on to whatever is next. Quieter, but most of the work went here: syncing across your household is faster and more reliable, a Lock Screen widget that could sit blank draws again, and joining a household from an invite link is easier. Your pet's page has been rebuilt around their health — plus a vet report you can hand over at the clinic, and the microchip on an ID card. YOUR PET'S PAGE, IN THREE TABS Health, Meds and Vet visits each have a tab now. Health opens on the weight chart, this week's toilet visits and how long it has been since the last pee or poo. Pee and Poo buttons log a visit in one tap. VET REPORT (PetPill Pro) Turn any period of your pet's record into a PDF — doses given, skipped and missed with an adherence rate, vet visits and their notes, weight and toilet visits. Preview it, then share it from History or your pet's page. MICROCHIP ON THE ID CARD Open the ID card on your pet's page to add the chip number, registry and implant date. Copy the number when a vet or shelter asks for it. HOUSEHOLD The Family tab is now Household. Each pet has a care circle showing everyone who looks after it, and the You card sets the name your household sees on the doses you log. Toilet log Record pees and poos in one tap, from the main screen or your pet’s page — with the time, a note, and who logged it, so everyone caring for your pet can see what’s already been done. Edit a dose after you've logged it. Tap any logged dose on Today or in History to correct the time, record the amount you actually gave, add a note — or undo it. Reminders can arrive early. Each medication now has its own "Remind me" setting: 5 minutes to an hour before the dose is due, with the option to keep a second reminder at dose time. Plus: caregiver names on shared pets, skippable setup steps, a clear warning when iCloud storage is full, and fixes to the widget's dose button, refill forecasts and back-dated dose times.
