RepXP: Strength Workout Log
Progressive Overload Tracker
Free · In‑App Purchases
Stop guessing your next weight. RepXP applies your progression rules automatically, so every workout starts with clear targets on iPhone or Apple Watch.
Stop guessing your next weight. RepXP is a strength workout log with automatic progressive overload. Set your rules once, then start each session with the right weight and rep targets already applied.
Log on iPhone or leave it in the locker and train from the standalone Apple Watch app. One tap confirms a set, rest timers start automatically, and personal records are detected as you lift.
AUTOMATIC PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD
Define your progression once. RepXP can increase reps within your range, move the weight when you are ready, react to logged effort, and suggest a deload when progress stalls.
FAST WORKOUT LOGGING
• Confirm sets with one tap
• See the active set clearly
• Edit reps and weight when plans change
• Track RPE or RIR by set, exercise, or session
• Use automatic rest timers with Live Activities

TRAIN PHONE-FREE ON APPLE WATCH
Start and finish complete workouts from your wrist. Log sets, change reps or weight, adjust upcoming sets, and get haptic rest-timer alerts without carrying your phone.
LIVE CARDIO HEART-RATE ZONES
See live heart rate and your current zone during cardio workouts on Apple Watch. On iOS 26, iPhone can also show live data from a compatible paired heart-rate source. Completed cardio workouts include average heart rate, max heart rate, and time in each zone.

2.4.0 Aug 11
Your workout is easier to follow, and cardio now has a clearer picture of effort.
• Live cardio zones. See your heart rate and current zone during cardio on Apple Watch, or on iPhone with a compatible paired heart-rate source.
• Time in every zone. Completed cardio workouts now show average and max heart rate plus a full zone breakdown.
• Faster set logging. The active strength set is clearer, with a one-tap Log button and notes that stay out of the way until needed.
• Better Watch finish flow. Finish a completed workout directly from the exercise card, with a haptic when you reach a cardio goal.
• Your data, your way. Build a custom CSV export for coaches, AI tools, or spreadsheets, then import RepXP files from one place.
• Reliable launch after updating. Updating from an older version could close the app the moment it opened. This is fixed, and no workout data was affected.
• Steadier rest timer. The rest countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island could crash when a break ran out while the app was in the background.
Thanks for training with RepXP.
2.3.0 Aug 4
RepXP is quicker and smoother this time around.
• Instant launch. The app opens right to your workouts, faster than ever.
• Import in one tap. Routines from AI coaches now come as a link that drops straight into RepXP, and shared links open every time.
• Stress and Recovery, for everyone. The screen now works if you track by exercise, with more detail to dig into.
• Your day at a glance. Finished a workout today? Its full summary now shows right on your day view.
Thanks for training with RepXP. Keep the streak going.
2.2.0 Jul 27
Share your workouts
Your training is worth sharing. RepXP 2.1 lets you send any workout, or your whole routine, to a friend with a QR code or link. Exercises, sets, reps, weights, breaks, supersets, and progression settings all come along.
• Share a workout or your full routine from the workout preview
• Friends add it by scanning the QR code or tapping the link, and review everything before it lands in their list
• No account needed, the whole workout travels inside the code
Smarter progression alerts
• Progression Ready alerts now highlight exercises from the workout scheduled on the day the alert arrives, not whichever workout you finished last
• No more stacked notifications: when a progression alert lands on a reminder day, it takes the reminder's place
As always, thanks for training with RepXP. If you're enjoying the app, a review goes a long way!
2.1.0 Jul 20
RepXP 2.0
A big one. Smarter progression, effort tracking, a fresh start, and widgets with personality.
Effort tracking (RPE / RIR)
Log how hard each set, exercise, or session felt with a smooth new slider. See your effort in history and reports, and get a new Recovery and Stress view that tracks your training load over time. Free to log and view.
Progression that reacts to you (Pro)
Your suggested weights now adjust to how hard your sessions actually feel, easing off when you are cooked and pushing when you have more in the tank.
See it before you lift it (Pro)
Workout previews now show exactly what will be applied when you start, whether that is a progression bump or a deload.
Progression ready alerts (Pro)
Get a heads up when an exercise is ready to move up, right after you finish.
A brand new start
Onboarding got a full refresh: pick your goal, bring your history in from other apps with step by step export help, and start with a 14 day Pro trial. Training with another app we do not list yet? Request it right from setup.
Widgets with personality
The Volume widget now tells you what you moved in real terms, more than a car, a bus, even a plane, with an icon that grows as you do. All home screen widgets are freshly branded.
Cleaner and clearer
Simplified Settings, tidier volume numbers across the app (28.5k kg instead of tonnes), and a smarter Apple Watch workout list.
Fixes
Squashed false deload triggers and fixed a frozen rest timer on Apple Watch during effort rating.
2.0.0 Jul 13
This update brings RepXP to Siri, the Home Screen, and Spotlight, plus a tidier You tab.
• New: Voice commands with Siri. While you're working out, say "Hey Siri, log set in RepXP" to record your next planned set. Out of the gym? Ask Siri to show your streak, look up a PR, tell you how much you've lifted this week, or start any of your workouts. No Pro required.
• New: Home Screen quick start. Press and hold the RepXP icon to jump straight into one of your recent workouts.
• New: Spotlight search. Your workouts and exercises now show up in iPhone search. Tap a result to open it in the app.
• Rest timer now stays in sync everywhere. If you start a break by voice while your phone is asleep, the lock screen notification and the countdown inside the app match perfectly when you come back.
• Simpler You tab. Settings is flatter and faster to scan, and reporting a bug or requesting a feature is now a single streamlined screen.
• Small visual polish across the app.
1.10.0 Jun 23
This update gives Pro users a way to protect their streak when life gets in the way and makes it easier to see everything Pro unlocks.
• New: Streak Freeze (Pro). Heading on vacation, sick, or taking a planned rest week? Tap Freeze on your Current Streak card and the streak pauses right where it is. It auto-unfreezes the moment you start your next workout, so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
• Tap "All Pro features unlocked" on the subscription page to open a What's Unlocked screen. Every Free and Pro feature is grouped by category with a clear check or lock so you always know what you're getting.
• The Workouts tab empty state now fills the screen so the background looks right on day one.
• Small visual polish across the app.
1.9.0 Jun 15
This update sharpens a few things you see every day. Tap any day in the weekly preview to see what's coming up or what you've already crushed, check your workout history in a cleaner layout, and trust your Apple Watch cardio numbers a bit more.
• Tap any day in the weekly preview to open a quick summary card. Past days show your completed workouts and total volume. Today shows what's scheduled with a Start button. Future days show what's planned. Missed days are clearly flagged.
• Workout history detail now shows a clean 2x2 stat grid with Exercises, Duration, Volume, and Sets.
• Refreshed onboarding with new welcome messaging and a fresh background across every step.
• Scheduled workout countdown no longer triggers again after you've already completed today's session.
• Apple Watch cardio: calories and distance now begin counting when you press Play, not from the start of the workout. Duration also stays accurate after the app spends time in the background.
• Small visual polish across the app.
1.8.0 Jun 9
A fresh new look. Tabs, screens, and the app launch animation now wear a vibrant gradient backdrop that brings out the depth and translucency of Liquid Glass.
• Smoother exercise switching during active workouts, especially with large history
• Tap the auto start countdown to begin your workout right away
1.7.0 Jun 1
Leveling is now optional. Choose during onboarding, or change your mind anytime under:
You → Settings → App Preferences → Workout Preferences
XP and badges keep accruing silently in the background, so you can turn leveling back on whenever you like and pick up right where you left off.
1.6.0 May 25
Warmup Exercise:
You can now add a dedicated warmup to any routine. The warmup exercise appears in the exercise picker and helps you prepare for your workout without cluttering your main exercise list.
Other improvements:
• Fixed streak protection alerts firing incorrectly
• Moved Report Badge setting for easier access
• Various bug fixes and performance improvements
1.5.0 May 17
Watch PR Detection:
Your Apple Watch now shows a trophy icon when you're about to beat a personal record. Hit the PR and get a celebration banner right on your wrist. After finishing, the completion screen breaks down your XP earned by sets, PRs, and streak bonuses.
Other improvements:
• Redesigned Watch active workout layout with cleaner exercise cards
• Various bug fixes and performance improvements
1.4.0 May 10
AI Assisted Routine:
Generate a personalized workout routine using any AI assistant. RepXP builds a detailed prompt with your full exercise catalog, equipment, and training history. Copy it to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI. The AI acts as your fitness coach, asks about your goals, experience, and schedule, then outputs a structured plan. Paste the result back into RepXP and it imports everything as ready to use workouts with progression already configured. Free for all users.
Other improvements:
• Per workout break timers now sync to your Apple Watch so rest periods carry over when you switch devices
• Fixed break timer not resetting correctly between exercises
• Fixed skip exercise button overwriting all completed sets with zeros instead of only filling the remaining empty ones
• Fixed keyboard blocking the Apply button when editing a set
1.3.0 May 3
Bug fixes and improvements:
• Fixed a critical bug where starting a workout on the Apple Watch would stop responding after the phone ended any workout in the background
• Progression suggestions now correctly expire after a manual deload instead of retrying stale targets indefinitely
• Moved the progression settings section higher in the exercise configuration screen for easier access
1.2.1 Apr 22
Apple Watch Set Editing:
You can now edit reps and weight directly on your Apple Watch. Tap Edit Set to adjust values with simple steppers, then choose Apply to update just that set or Apply to Following to update all remaining sets at once. You can also delete the last completed set if you need to redo it.
Chart Goal Lines:
Add goal lines to your body composition, exercise volume, and cardio charts. Set a target for any metric and a persistent line appears on the chart so you can track your progress toward it. Configurable through the new gear button on each chart.
AI Recovery Insights:
Muscle group analytics now includes a personalized training summary powered by on device AI. It analyzes your recent training patterns and gives you recommendations on what to train next and what needs more rest. Requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence.
Other improvements:
• Fixed a bug where progression could apply incorrect values if your last workout had different weights or reps across sets
• Training heatmap month labels now scroll with the grid instead of staying fixed
• Tapping a muscle group on the radar chart now shows volume and trend details
• Fixed an issue where the Apple Watch could show a stale "tap to continue" banner after ending a workout on your phone
1.2.0 Apr 19
Supersets & Tri-Sets:
You can now build superset and tri-set workouts. Pair two or three exercises together and the app walks you through each rotation, one set at a time, with rest timers between groups. Works on Apple Watch too.
This is a Pro feature.
Other improvements:
• Monthly and yearly report notifications now arrive on the first day after each period ends instead of waiting for Sunday
• Fixed a bug where workout streaks wouldn't reset properly if you missed your scheduled days
• The You tab loads faster now
• Various UI fixes
