We all deserve a few quiet minutes. We built Kidbox Stories to give you a break while your kids (ages 2 to 8) read, learn, and grow. It’s a library of illustrated, narrated children’s books with no ads. Just stories they pick for themselves, and quiet minutes you don’t have to feel guilty about.
HOW YOUR READER GROWS
Every storybook is animated and narrated, with each word highlighted as it’s read. Toddlers listen and watch. Preschoolers connect sounds to words. Early readers read it themselves with our Read Along feature, at their own pace, with help when they want it. “Read it to me” becomes “I’ll read it myself.”

Our stories come from therapists, counselors, teachers, television writers, and parents like you. People who know what a five-year-old finds funny and what a bedtime story is supposed to do. Find books by age, topic, or the skill you’re working on: sharing, big feelings, new siblings, dinosaurs, ponies, pirates, and everything between.

Our learning arcade turns vocabulary, spelling, phonics, and grammar into games kids beg to play. All the fun of an arcade, with learning at the center. Rounds are short enough for the car line.

In a kid-safe corner of the app, your child picks characters, places, and fun ideas, and watches them become a fully illustrated storybook of their own. I've downloaded and deleted more kids' apps than I can count. They either feel like slot machines designed to hook my kids. Kidbox is different.The stories are beautiful (vibrantly illustrated, genuinely well-written, and clearly made by people who care about children (parents, teachers, counselors). The read-aloud narration with word highlighting has been a game changer for my early reader. She's actually building confidence instead of just passively watching. This is what a kids' app should look like. Highly recommend

I’ve never used a platform like this before. My nephew is 2 years old and his parents don’t usually like him using a phone. With Kidbox he utilizes screen time effectively and really enjoys it. Easy app to navigate. Love the feature where I can create my own story as he can see “himself” in a story which makes it more relatable and applicable to his life. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and family.
