Your watch knows you run. Now it knows you lift. Native Garmin strength app. Set, rep, weight, rest from the wrist. No Connect cleanup.
Turn your watch into a strength training powerhouse - with intelligence no other app has.
Rack is the only strength training app that combines real-time watch integration with per-muscle-group recovery intelligence. Track from your wrist. Get pre-workout readiness briefs. Let Rack learn how your body responds to training - and watch its recommendations get smarter with every session.
ON YOUR WRIST
Hot-Swap - equipment taken mid-workout? Swap any exercise without stopping your activity. Your watch keeps counting. Both exercises are recorded. No workarounds. No data loss.
DataBuffer - phone in your locker. Basement gym. No signal. Rack queues every set directly on your watch and syncs the moment you reconnect. Nothing is lost.
Training Readiness that knows you did leg day. Rack records your workouts as proper Strength activities - feeding your Training Load and Training Readiness correctly.
INTELLIGENCE BUILT ON YOUR DATA
Pre-Workout Brief: readiness score, per-muscle recovery status, and load balance analysis - before every session. Not generic advice. Specific to what you lifted, when, and how much.
Training Alerts: Rack watches for volume imbalances, unusual load spikes, and patterns that precede plateaus. You get flagged before problems become setbacks.
The longer you train with Rack, the more it learns about your body. No auto-pilot. Your data, your decisions.

I had been searching for an app that worked with my Garmin watch that would make building workouts easier, but also allow me to see the required weight I programmed with each movement on watch so that I could stop fiddling with my phone at the gym. This app solved both problems! The developer has also been fast to reply to found bugs and has been fast to fix them. Over all no complaints so far!
Developer Response
Thank you!You named some of the main pain points I built Rack for: programming a session once, and seeing the target weight on the watch so your phone stays in your gym bag between sets. Glad it's landing that way.Keep the bug reports coming. If something ever feels off - a sync hiccup, a missing exercise, a set that didn't register, please reach out!
App terrible
Wyattmatthewatson
The app will random kick you off, can't get to connect to Strava by far one of the worst strength training app I have used
Developer Response
Hey Wyatt, founder here. The kick-outs shouldn't happen, and that one's on me to fix. If you can email support@rackstrength.com with your watch model and roughly when it crashed, I'll trace the logs and push a fix.Strava is paused right now while I sort out a partner-side issue. It's coming back. Sorry the timing landed on you. Thanks for the honest feedback. I read every reply.
Great option to Hevy for Garmin Users
Ebaca
I used to use Hevy to log my weight workouts with the Apple Watch companion app until I switched to a Garmin watch. Then I was stuck logging my workouts on both my watch and Hevy since Hevy doesn’t have a Garmin companion app and they have said publicly that they have no intention of supporting Garmin. Luckily I found this app with does the same thing but is for Garmin. Now I can log my workouts on my watch like I used to. Also, you can send your workouts to your watch and log them completely without a phone which you can’t do on Hevy that I know of. A great Hevy / Garmin alternative! Not to mention, you can import your Hevy workouts into the app so you don’t have to start from scratch!
Developer Response
This is the exact story I hoped to hear Ernie, thank you for taking the time to write it. Coming from a Garmin watch and being stuck double-logging in Hevy was the Rack exists, and I'm really glad the Hevy import let you pick up where you left off instead of starting over. Enjoy logging straight from your watch, and reach out anytime!- Noah
