Track sleep, HRV, recovery and strength from Apple Health. New: a free Monthly Recap you can share as a video, and a simpler Train tab. Your data stays on your iPhone.
Metrya turns your Apple Health and Apple Watch data into a clearer picture of your day: how you slept, how recovered you are, and how training fits in.
Start with one morning view of sleep, HRV, recovery, stress and training, measured against your own baseline. No account or sign-up. Your health metrics are processed on your iPhone, not on Metrya servers.
RECOVERY THAT STARTS WITH YOU
Your daily Recovery score brings together HRV, resting heart rate and sleep on a 0–100 scale. See what moved your score, not just the number. Reserve estimates how your energy changes with activity and rest, while Sentinel highlights overnight readings outside your usual range.
UNDERSTAND LAST NIGHT. PLAN TONIGHT.
Explore sleep stages, overnight heart rate, sleep debt and consistency. Get a suggested bedtime based on your sleep needs and recent activity, so your sleep data helps you plan ahead.
TRAIN WITH YOUR RECOVERY IN MIND
See your training load, heart rate zones and workout trends alongside your recovery. Get guidance on today's training and an estimate of recovery time after demanding sessions.
Log strength workouts with sets, reps, weights and a rest timer, then save your workout to Apple Health. Review past sessions and build on what you did last time.
SEE STRESS AND HEALTH TRENDS IN CONTEXT
Follow HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 max, body composition and blood pressure logs in one place. Stress insights compare your readings with your own range, helping you spot changes without treating every fluctuation as a problem.
CONNECT YOUR HABITS WITH YOUR NUMBERS
Track caffeine, hydration, supplements and wellness sessions such as sauna, cold plunges and meditation. Add check-ins for energy, mood and soreness. Explore patterns between what you log and how you sleep and recover. Patterns are not proof of cause and effect.
ASK ABOUT YOUR DATA
With the Pro AI Advisor, ask "How has my HRV changed this week?" or "What changed after that workout?" Get answers grounded in your own numbers, with context from the night, workout, chart or report you're viewing.
Choose Apple Intelligence on supported devices, a supported on-device model, or your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. No API key is needed for on-device AI.
If you choose an external AI provider, your question and relevant health context are sent directly to that provider under its privacy policy. Provider charges may apply.
YOUR PROGRESS, READY TO REVIEW
See your week across sleep, recovery and activity. With Pro, export weekly and topic-specific PDF reports for yourself or your coach, including HRV, heart rate, workouts, VO2 max, body trends and blood pressure. Reports are generated on your iPhone.
BUILT AROUND APPLE HEALTH
Use Apple Watch or compatible devices and apps that write data to Apple Health, including Oura, WHOOP and Garmin. Available insights depend on the data each device shares and the permissions you grant. Keep key numbers close with the Apple Watch app, complications and iPhone widgets.

I've been using it for weeks and I love it. No smart ring to buy, no pricey subscription like Whoop: Metrya turns the data your watch already saves in Apple Health into clear insights on recovery, sleep, HRV, stress and training, all against your own baseline. I don't even have an Apple Watch, I use an Amazfit and it works just the same. No account, no servers: your data stays on your phone. It’s one of the few apps that actually help me understand my body without trying to sell me another device.
Having hit 60 years

Having nothing to lose I decided to monitor my health, this app has filled gaps and using AI to interpret the data has been fun, still dying but having fun monitoring it
Game changer for health data nerds
Man.Osm
Connects perfectly with Apple Health, shows trends that Apple’s native app hides, and the AI chat answers specific questions like 'Why was my HRV low last night?' Zero servers, total privacy.
Great so far

An alternative to Bevel and Athylitic that seems to be spot-on. I’ll update this review after a couple weeks…
Developer Response
really appreciate! This is community-driven application so if you have any suggestions how to make this app better - new features, changes how existing features work, etc - or any bugs please do not hesitate to contact me. let's make this app as good as possible! :)
YOUR TRAINING FOCUS
You can now pick a training focus: Maintain or Build. You find it on Train, under the Today rings, and on Load & form. Maintain works as before, so nothing changes if you never pick one. Training focus is free.
Build gives today's range about 10 % more room on top. The minimum and the kind of workout stay the same, so you never have to do more. If you trained but are still below the range, Today says how much is left.
Low Recovery, Recovery time, a sudden jump in load, low Reserve or a sick day still set the limit. Then Today says that today is lighter, and why.
CARDIO LOAD FOR EVERY WORKOUT
Every workout with heart rate now has a cardio load. It counts how hard your heart worked, minute by minute. A higher heart rate counts more, so a brisk walk adds more than a slow one, even when both stay in Zone 1.
Open a workout to see it on its own page, and drag across the chart to see each minute. With Pro, you can compare it with your last sessions like this, and Load & form shows a 30-day line with your typical range.
Cardio load shows effort, not fitness gained. It is not added to your load, Training status or Recovery time. If the maximum heart rate estimated from your age does not fit you, you can now set your own on Profile.
REST TIME THAT FITS YOUR LIFTING
When you start a strength session, you can now choose what you are lifting for: Strength, Muscle or Endurance. The rest timer for new exercises follows your choice: 3:00, 2:00 or 1:00 for big lifts, and 2:30, 1:30 or 0:45 for smaller ones. Muscle is the default, and its rest for big lifts is now 2:00, not 2:30. A rest you set yourself on an exercise or a template always stays.
After a session with logged sets, the workout page notes when your reps fell by 20 % or more across at least 3 sets at the same weight. It is only a note, and it never tells you to stop.
WORTH NOTICING MOVES UP
Worth noticing is no longer at the bottom of Today. A small badge at the end of the date line now opens each change, with your usual range and a possible context. In Customize Dashboard you can show a strip of metrics above the date instead.
It also gives fewer false alarms. A change now appears only when the two numbers are really different, and each measure needs a minimum change first. Each change is labelled Small, Clear or Big. SpO₂ is now outside the safe range below 92 %, not 95 %.
ALSO NEW
With Pro, Heads up today now shows the weather, with up to 3 short tips in your app's language. The sauna and cold plunge card on Today shows your minutes in the last 7 days instead of weekly targets. Context on Today has a ring that counts down the days. Prefer one slim line? Pick it in Customize.
The Workout saved pop-up is now in your app's language. We also fixed a rare case where the screen could stay frozen after closing a pop-up. A coffee or other caffeine drink you log now counts toward your water on Today straight away.
If you log food and drinks in an app like Cronometer, caffeine could show too many drinks. When an entry changes there, Metrya now follows the change and does not keep the old one. Amounts under 15 mg, such as chocolate or decaf, still count toward your mg, but not as a drink.
