I've been practicing Spanish for around 2 years and I am no where near fluent (I really need to get a more extensive vocabulary) I wanna give this app the benefit of the doubt seeming that it does look to have a log of passion put into it. I decided to study some of the A2 Flashcards since that is what I'm looking for however most of the translations or phrases in these Flashcards have to be some of the most unhelpful I have seen literally anywhere . "Interrumpir la maleta" does not mean anything, nor is it Idiomatic. It baffled me that that's even something there but I kept going since I really wanted this app to be something I used daily, that was until I got "Interrumpir en la frontera" which I believe is insane to be an A2 Flashcard with the example being "I can interrupt at the border better now". It's genuinely nonsensical and as it is now I can not recommend. I don't like to throw this around much but it kinda smells of AI, it's nonsensical the stuff it's teaching naturally via the Flashcards. Hope the developer takes insight to this because it has promise other than what I've mentioned. Good UI, accessibility with the flashcards, just needs time to bake I hope.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a detailed and honest review — we truly appreciate it.You’re absolutely right to point out those examples. This was caused by a glitch in part of our vocabulary library, and we completely understand how frustrating that can be — especially when you’re learning seriously. We truly take this feedback seriously, and our team is constantly working on improving the content. The A1 and A2 vocabulary have now been fully reviewed and corrected to ensure all phrases are natural and useful. We’d really appreciate it if you could try the updated version of the app.If you notice anything else or have suggestions, feel free to reach out anytime:https://learn-spanish-using-splashcards.blogspot.com/p/learn-spanish-using-flashcards-app.htmlThanks again for your support — it truly means a lot to us
Disappointing for the Money

Very robotic voice pronounces the word. Definitely not a good model for working on pronunciation.Words longer than six or seven letters seem to get split into two lines on the flashcards and rotating my screen didn’t fix it.All in all disappointing and frustrating for the cost. Definitely deleting this.

Fonts are messed up and can’t read the answers in the vocab
Philmelda
The fonts are way too big and don’t show the answer when you’re looking for the flip Side of the flash card. I didn’t see any way to adjust the font size, so the entire application is kind of worthless. Maybe this will get fixed in a newer version.
Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback. We’ve fixed this in the latest version. You can now change flashcard text size in Profile by choosing Small, Standard, or Large, and the setting applies across lesson cards, decks, and Vocab Master.
Added a flashcard text size setting in Profile, with consistent sizing across lessons, decks, and Vocab Master.
