HOW IT WORKS:
Saltwater Tides pulls real-time data from NOAA, the National Weather Service, and Open-Meteo Marine. Our fishing rating engine scores each day based on six factors: solunar alignment, tide phase, wind, barometric pressure, water temperature, and moon phase. Separate inshore and offshore ratings because conditions that wreck an offshore trip can be perfect inshore.
Solunar feeding periods are calculated on-device using lunar transit astronomy — no internet needed for moon data.
