Seafloor Relief 3D-style seabed shading that reveals the shape of the bottom — drop-offs, humps, channel edges — for premium subscribers, in select charted areas. Download a region and it works offline, like the rest of your charts. Update reminders A calm heads-up when a newer build is available, so you find out before anything stops working rather than after. Dismissible, and it never covers the chart. Group sharing — export The Group tab now exports the markers and catches your group shares, not just your own. Filenames and file contents agree on the date. Fixes • The safety depth contour now highlights correctly on charted areas. • Speed, course and distance now blank out when the GPS fix goes stale, instead of holding a stale reading that looks live. • The measurement readout no longer sits under the centre crosshair. • Depth readout no longer shows a placeholder value where no reading exists.

ON THE CHART Tap a marker callout to Inspect it — a read-only detail view, so there's no Delete sitting where you meant to tap. Shared markers and validation pins open the same way, and shared detail now shows the icon and colour the sender chose. Heading-up seats your boat low on the screen, putting more of the water ahead in view. The crosshair now steps aside while you're under way — pan the chart to bring it back. Course arrows account for map bearing, so they agree with the predictor no matter which way the chart is turned. You can stop navigation straight from the instruments cluster, and a deleted marker no longer leaves you navigating to nothing. Navigation lines are straight-line only, and the app now says so once, up front. The offline download box is sized from the map you're actually looking at, rather than a fixed span — zoom in for a smaller download, out for a wider one. CATCHES Log the depth along with your catch. It pre-fills from the charted depth under the pin and stays editable, so it's right when the chart isn't. Every catch now shows where it sat against the nearest tide change, and the tide reads in plain language — rising and falling for height, incoming and outgoing for current. Share a catch and the tide and depth travel with it. The app no longer pre-fills a catch position from a GPS fix too weak to trust, and an edited marker coordinate now actually saves. GROUPS A shared position shows speed and course, not just a dot. Your groups appear straight away from cache while they refresh, and a share that hits a slow connection queues instead of failing. REFERENCE Pinch-zoom, pan and reset-to-fit on species photos for a closer look. Marine VHF and GMRS guidance are now a single two-tab reference, offline as always. ALSO Bottom tab labels reflow instead of clipping at large text sizes, and subscribers no longer start the ads engine at all.

CONDITIONS — ONE TIMELINE FOR TIDE AND CURRENT Tide and current now share a single scrubbable timeline. Drag to any time and read both against the same axis instead of comparing two charts, and fishing windows are now derived from real current speed rather than inferred from the tide's slope. GROUP CHAT Open your group's chat in one tap from the chart. Messages you send without signal now clearly read as queued rather than stuck sending, and the thread keeps itself up to date more reliably when you come back into coverage. ON THE WATER The screen stays awake while you're on the chart, so it won't sleep on you mid-run, and your own boat now shows a heading arrow when under way. Conditions follow the station, not your phone Tide planner, weather strip and currents all read in the station's own time zone now, labelled whenever that differs from yours. Before this they disagreed with each other, which is worse than being wrong consistently — there was no way to know which one to trust. Day grouping and the month title follow the station's day too, so a tide just after local midnight files under the right date. Un-sharing works offline Retracting a marker or catch you had shared used to wait silently for a server that wasn't there. The row disappeared from your phone, so it looked done — while your crew could still see it. It now queues properly and tells you: "Will remove when you're back online." When you reconnect, it actually leaves the group. Light mode reaches the last corners The group screens, the sign-in sheet, and the create-and-edit form for markers and catches ignored your Appearance setting and stayed dark. They follow it now. The catch form matters most: it is the screen you use outdoors, in the sun, where light mode is not a preference. Tide times near Eastport read Eastern Two Maine stations close to the Canadian border — Eastport and Passamaquoddy Bay — had been assigned Atlantic Time, so their predictions ran an hour late. Fixed, along with nine current stations in the same waters. Also in this release The un-share button on group feeds, and the offline mark on the sync indicator, were rendering as empty boxes. Both show properly now — which is very likely why un-sharing seemed impossible to find. Your boat marker is drawn natively, so the chart does considerably less work on every GPS fix.

Save shared spots to your own markers When someone in your group shares a marker, you can now save it into My Markers as your own copy. It stays with you even if you leave the group, and it remembers who shared it and where. If you already had a marker on that spot, the two are linked rather than duplicated — so you see one pin, not two stacked on top of each other. 20 new rockfish photographs in the Fish ID guide The Southeast Alaska guide gains 20 photographs, used with the kind permission of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Several species that had no photograph at all now have one, and yelloweye rockfish now shows a juvenile alongside the adult — they look very different, and telling them apart matters. As always, the guide and its photos download with your offline regions and work with no signal. Support is easier to find Support and Send Feedback now sit at the top of Settings, rather than partway down.

Finishing the crosshair, and recording the tide with your catches. CROSSHAIR One control at the reticle does both jobs now: with nothing under it, add a marker or log a catch right where you're aiming. With one of your own marks under it, inspect it without hunting for the pin. Your markers and catches are named on every chart mode — including NOAA, and on free accounts. The reticle also grabs what you're actually pointing at, at any zoom. Below the usable depth zoom it simply steps aside instead of asking you to zoom in. TIDE WITH YOUR CATCHES Every catch you log now records the tide — height, datum, stage, and the station it came from — sampled at the moment of the catch rather than the moment you look at it. You see it on the form before you save and on the catch card afterwards, from the same source. Where there's no station in range, it says so. A blank reading is never shown as a real one. CONDITIONS IN LANDSCAPE Tides, currents and weather read beside the chart instead of covering it. CLEANER CHARTS Symbols thin by category at wide zoom so hazards and aids stay readable, and the app tells you when it's thinning rather than quietly dropping them. ALSO Deleting a group now really deletes it — roster, shared markers, catches and chat. Plus contrast fixes in light mode and steadier chart loading.
