I downloaded the app, made an account, and sent my first fax in under five minutes. The interface is clean and easy to follow. The main screen walks you through the process step by step with no clutter or confusing menus. You pick your document source, which can be a photo from your camera, an image from your library, or a PDF from your files. You type in the recipient fax number and hit send. The app takes care of the rest. One of the things I like most is the scan quality. When you use the built in camera scanner, the app automatically detects the edges of your document, corrects the angle, and bumps up the contrast so the result looks sharp and professional. I have faxed medical forms, signed contracts, and insurance paperwork, and the recipients have always been able to read them without any issues. Scan quality has never been a problem. Delivery confirmations are another standout. Every time I send a fax I get a notification telling me whether it went through. This is huge when you are sending something time sensitive. You do not have to call the recipient to check if they got it. The confirmation usually shows up within a minute or two. I have not had a fax fail to deliver when the number was entered correctly. If you occasionally need to send a fax for work, medical, legal, or personal reasons, Fax Mate is the app I would recommend without hesitation. Horrible app doesn’t work and there’s no response from the developer. Important documents just sit in the pending queue and are not sent out.
