Life moves fast. Keep what mattered.
The small dinners and the big days go by, and then they're gone — three photos somewhere in a camera roll, a group chat that scrolled off, nobody sure who came. BoredApp is where you keep them, on purpose: every event, who was there, what was said, everyone's photos. Plan it here, and the archive builds itself.
THIS IS THE MEMORY ARCHIVE
Every event you keep lands in one place — the album everyone added to, the chat, the reactions, who came. Repeat an event and the years link into one timeline: a third birthday through a sixth in a single scroll, or four Tuesdays of the run club. Link the legs of a trip and it's one road. Everyone who came sees it, not just the host. The longer you use it, the more it holds.
ONE SENTENCE. THE WHOLE STORY.
Connect the AI assistant you already use, ask for a recap, and it writes one page from the group's own photos — the wedding, the camping weekend, a kid from three to six — for everyone who was there. Free. Five looks to open it in: Gallery, Album, Cinema, Logbook, Bulletin. Your AI picks the one that fits; you can change it.
THE DAY, AS IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
The best photos of your event are on everybody else's phone. Every event gets a shared album that fills up while it's happening — sixty guests, sixty angles, including every moment you weren't in. Say something about a photo and the words stay with the picture. Anyone can save the whole album to their own phone, and the album doesn't expire.
PUT IT ON THE PHOTO WALL
One link plays the album on any TV or laptop. New shots appear the moment guests take them, each with the name of whoever posted it. Nothing to install on the screen, and the host can stop it any time.
THE TOOLS TO PLAN IT. THE MEMORY ARCHIVE, FREE.
Run the day with these, and everything lands in the archive on its own.
• Create the event — date, time, place, details, one tap
• The share link is the invitation: a designed card in any of the five looks, with your photos on it. Guests RSVP from any browser, nothing to install
• Tasks: assign a job to one person or split it between several, and watch them tick off live
• Live ETAs when friends are on the way — we compute the minutes and discard the coordinates. No map, no dot, no history
• Everyone sees the same plan, so nobody asks "what time again?" twice
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your memories deserve a private home, not a feed. Events are visible only to the people you invite — no public profiles, no discovery, no strangers. Your data isn't sold, your location isn't stored, and every photo has its location data stripped before it leaves your phone. A recap opens only for the people who were there unless you choose to share a link — and you can take that link back.

Events that fit your life
An event doesn't need a place anymore: leave it empty, or pick one of your usual spots with a tap. And choose "Ongoing" for something you keep adding to, like a family log. It stays open until you end it.
Split the bill with your AI
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to BoredApp once (open Expenses on any event to see how), then drop in your receipts and say how to split them: evenly, by what each person ordered, or "I've got this one." The event shows who paid what, who owes whom, and the fewest transfers to settle. Guests tick their own lines, and the Pay button opens PayPal or Venmo, or copies the e-Transfer email and amount. No money moves through the app. A trip settles as one tab.
A cleaner event page
Add to your calendar, see who's coming or get directions right from each line of the event.
Series albums show the chat
Flip between each event's photos and its chat, and swipe through the whole series.
Also
- Chats stay on the newest message when you send or the keyboard opens.
- Your own new events no longer show the "new" dot.
- Fixed a crash when leaving the wide events layout.
