Trigger pads, fire cues, Stop All, and Fade Out All over Wi-Fi, ideal for controlling a stage Mac from the booth. Pair once with a code and it reconnects automatically. LitPads 1.7.0 is a huge content update for iPhone and iPad. Built-in Sound Library: Over 240 ready-to-use sounds across 23 categories. Browse, preview, and drop any sound onto a pad in a tap. Animated video pads: Put a meme or reaction clip on a pad so it plays video the moment you fire it. Board background: Set an image or a looping video as a board's backdrop, sliced across your grid like a poster. Broadcast countdown timers: Trigger "Starting soon" and "BRB" countdowns from a pad and show them right on the board. Great for streams and tabletop nights. Streaming on a Mac? Stability fix for a crash that could occur when deleting a board with many sounds loaded.

SWAP SOUND, FIXED Tapping the swap button on a pad in edit mode now actually replaces the sound and updates the pad name to match. Previously the audio or label could end up unchanged. DELETE KEEPS YOUR BOARD LAYOUT Removing a sound from a pad now empties the slot in place instead of shrinking the board. The pad's color, MIDI binding, and keyboard shortcut all stay put so you can drop a new sound in without setting up again. EDIT MODE: PAD DELETE BUTTON REMOVED The X on the top right of each pad was easy to mistap and could trigger an intermittent crash. Long press a pad in edit mode for the Delete option in the context menu instead. HELP IS ONE TAP AWAY A question mark button next to the folder picker in the iPhone bottom bar opens the in app guide. No more digging through Settings to find it. ICLOUD SYNC PROMPT ON FIRST LAUNCH The Turn on iCloud Sync question now appears the first time you open the app as a Pro user instead of waiting for a relaunch.

[Resume mode for pads] Pads can now pick up exactly where they left off instead of restarting. Great for recurring themes and any sound you want to nudge along in pieces. Trigger and Playback are now independent in Pad Settings, so you can mix and match Hold + Resume, Toggle + Resume, and more. [Board colors, your way] Each board has separate Text Color and Icon Color in Board Settings, so you can keep names crisp white while tinting icons in any palette color. The Golden theme uses gold by default for untouched boards but honors anything you pick. [iPad polish] EQ and Pitch buttons sit higher in edit mode so they don't crowd the volume fader. The Edit button shows as a pencil icon, keeping it visible on the narrower iPad Mini nav bar. [Small fixes] Theme picker rows in Settings are tappable across the full row. Resume positions survive an unexpected exit and reset cleanly on the next intentional relaunch.

• Board Folders (Pro): organize your boards into folders. On iPhone, switch folders from the new bottom bar. On iPad, folders appear as collapsible sections in the sidebar. Everything syncs across your devices via iCloud. • Per-board icons (iPad): pick an SF Symbol or upload a custom image for each board's sidebar entry. • iPhone Edit mode is much smoother: drag anywhere on the grid to scroll, and the last rows are always reachable. • New Add Sound chooser on iPhone slides up cleanly from the bottom every time. • Choose how many pads new boards start with, in Settings. • Folder icons now follow your active theme color (rich gold on the Golden theme, and so on). • Layout polish for smaller iPhone screens, including the Pro upgrade screen.

Trim Editor: Cut and Silence Regions: Splice a section out of your audio with a cut, or mute part of it while keeping the timing with a silence. Both are non-destructive, work with all your existing pads, and include full undo and reset. Tap-to-Seek: Tap anywhere on the waveform during preview playback to jump the playhead to that point. Faster Long-File Editing: Long audio files now open in the Trim Editor much faster thanks to cached waveform rendering, with a clear loading placeholder while large files prepare. Performance and Stability: Improvements across iPhone and iPad.

Per-Pad Fade Button: Tap the ↓ on any pad to gracefully fade that pad to silence while every other playing pad keeps going. Set a custom fade time per pad in Pad Settings, or change the default in Settings. Pad Scrolling on iPhone: Boards with more than 12 pads now have a dedicated swipe zone and chevron buttons below the grid, so you can scroll through long boards without accidentally triggering pads. New pads scroll into view automatically. Pad Display: Each pad now shows its play mode (1Shot, Loop, Toggle, Hold) and a live remaining time readout. Smoother Board Switching: Switching between boards no longer briefly interrupts an ambient sound playing in the background.

Updates for live performance and show running. • Cue list volume controls: a master fader above the GO/STOP bar plus per-cue trim. On iPad every cue gets its own slider in the sidebar; on iPhone the Cue Editor includes a new Volume section. • iPhone Coming Up: a horizontal pill strip below the next cue shows the rest of your queue at a glance. Tap any pill to jump straight to that cue — no sidebar needed. • iCloud Sync now asks before turning on — nothing uploads without your consent. Decide once, change any time in Settings. • Restart show now drops back to standby with cue 1 armed instead of auto-firing, so a stray long-press on END can't blast the room with audio. • Polish across cue lists, the editor sheet layout, and the in-app help guide (now covers iCloud Sync and Cue Lists).

iCloud Sync (Pro) Your boards, pads, and sounds now sync across all your Apple devices. Build a board on iPhone, polish it on iPad, perform from your Mac — everything stays in lockstep through your iCloud account. Your audio files travel with the boards, so a board imported on one device plays the moment it appears on the next.

• Pad zoom and row spacing on iPad: two new sliders let you dial in the perfect grid size for your set. • Tap an empty pad to import or record right inside the pad. The action lands exactly where you pressed. • Multi-select multiple audio files at once when importing, even on the free tier. • Clearer paywall messages explain what's happening when you hit a limit, with a direct path to unlimited boards.

Live Show Cues — pre-program a sequence of cues that fire on GO. Manual, auto-when-done, or timed advance modes per cue. Per-cue fade-in and fade-out (crossfades happen automatically). Drag the playhead to scrub. Hold END to restart the show. MIDI Triggers — bind any MIDI note to GO, STOP, or RESET on a per-cue-list basis. Tap Learn, play a note, done. Keyboard Shortcuts — Space to GO, arrows to navigate cues, Esc to stop. Each cue list can override the defaults. Plus: live waveform previews with fade ramps, swipe-to-delete cues on iPad, polished editor flow, and dozens of refinements across iPhone and iPad.

• Imported boards now play reliably on first load, including boards that mix audio files with different sample rates. • Pad images travel with board exports. When you share or back up a board, custom artwork comes along and is restored on import. • The Fade Out time you configure is now respected exactly. Previously, fades could take noticeably longer than the set duration on busy boards. • Various stability and audio routing improvements.

New: Reverb effect per pad. Add ambient depth to any sound with the new per-pad reverb. Choose from preset spaces like Small Room, Cathedral, Plate, and Large Hall, then dial in the wet/dry mix to taste. Available on Pro pads. Plus background improvements.

On iPad, drag and drop to reorder your boards in the sidebar. Pad reordering already worked this way; now boards do too.

New: Global Fade Out. Tap the fade icon in the toolbar to smoothly fade all playing sounds to silence. Double-tap mid-fade to stop instantly. Each pad can use its own fade time, or set a universal fade length in Settings.
