Ingredients stand out while you cook. The step you're on shows each ingredient with its amount and a small icon for its aisle, like vegetables, dairy or meat, so you can grab it at a glance. Also in this update: - The recipes you opened most recently now sit at the top of your cookbook. Prefer another order? Pick it once and Recipe Fox remembers it - When a TikTok recipe is read from what's said in the video, Recipe Fox tells you, and mentions when some amounts were never said - More recipes import: sites that turn away the first try are now retried straight from your iPhone - Smoother tab bar animation Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

Follow along while you cook. Tap Start cooking, or any step, to keep your place. Each step shows the amounts it needs right in the text, and the screen stays on. Also in this update: - Times like "bake for 12 to 15 minutes" become timers you start with a tap. They ring even when Recipe Fox is closed - A calmer recipe page: title, times and servings sit together at the top, and the servings stepper scales the whole recipe - Edit, share and delete now live in the ••• menu Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

More room for your recipes. The top of your cookbook is slimmer: sorting now sits next to your filters, and the title tucks away as you scroll. Also in this update: - Collections now have their own tab - Settings is now a screen of its own, with a Light, Dark or Automatic appearance option - Swiping back from the left edge now follows your finger - Recipe Fox now saves recipes from sites that used to say no, including Allrecipes, EatingWell and Serious Eats. If a site blocks imports, the app tries again from your phone before giving up - Choose Auto, Metric or US for ingredient amounts. Recipes that list both units now show just yours - Ingredient headings like "For the Chicken" now carry over from more sites - Sharper cover photos when you import a recipe - Cleaner ingredient lists, with footnote markers like "(Note 1)" removed - Deleting a recipe now updates the count and cover photo on your collections - Amounts like "30 g butter" now show the right unit when converted to US - On iPad, a sidebar replaces the bottom bar in wide windows, and popups and screens fit properly when you rotate - You stay signed in more reliably when your phone is locked - General reliability improvements Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

Links that can't be imported - like Pinterest, Facebook, or sites that block imports - now explain why, and offer to write the recipe in yourself instead. Also in this update: - Ingredient amounts now scale correctly for recipes written per serving Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

You can now add a recipe by hand. Tap "No link? Write it yourself" when saving, or "or write your own" in an empty cookbook, and type or paste your ingredients and steps. It also gives you a way forward when a TikTok or Instagram post has no written recipe. Also in this update: - Ingredient amounts now show exactly as you saved them, with no quiet rounding - Hitting the free limit while saving a shared recipe no longer loses it - See when each release came out in What's New - General reliability improvements Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

Recipes with multiple parts - like a dough and a filling, or a base and a sauce - can now be organized into sections instead of one long list. This was one of the most-requested features, and many imported recipes pick it up automatically. Also in this update: - Catch up on new features anytime from a What's New screen in Settings - Settings reorganized into clear sections, easier to find what you need - Smoother, more reliable collections Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

Recipes and collections now sync properly between your devices - add or edit a recipe on one, and it's there the next time you open Recipe Fox on another. Also in this update: - Recipe photos save more reliably during import - Ingredient units (like tbsp and tsp) show correctly in your recipe's own language - Cookbook now loads in one smooth motion instead of appearing piece by piece - General reliability fixes for saving and importing recipes Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

Also in this update: - Fixed tablespoon/teaspoon showing confusing metric conversions - Recipe images that fail to load now show a clean placeholder instead of a blank box - Suggest a Feature - share ideas right from Settings - General reliability fixes for saving and importing recipes Thanks for cooking with Recipe Fox.

- Sharing a recipe now sends the whole thing - ingredients and steps included, not just a link that can go dead. - Cook Mode always shows your latest edit, even if you tweaked a step right before starting. - The recipe grid got a contrast boost so cards don't disappear into the background, and the sort bar now stays put while you scroll. - Plus small fixes throughout.
