What's new - Every button that does something over the network now shows a spinner and can't be tapped twice. This covers Continue with Google / Apple, send message, share my live location, save / edit trip, save timeline item, save profile name, log out, and delete account. - Delete trip and Leave trip now show a full-screen loading state while the action runs — no more staring at a frozen screen wondering if it worked. - When you save a change offline (edit trip, add or edit a timeline item), you now get a clear "Saved offline — will sync when online" toast instead of silence. - Removing someone from a trip now confirms with a toast so you know it went through. - The sync dot on the home screen now lights up red when the background refresh fails, instead of failing silently. Polish & localization - Trip card images, avatars, and place photos decode at their display size — home screen feels snappier and uses less memory. - Pictures that fail to load fall back to a clean initials badge instead of a broken-image icon. - The remaining English-only bits (chat empty state, "Add to Timeline", timeline delete errors) are now translated to Portuguese and Spanish. Reliability - Location-sharing setup no longer swallows permission errors — it's logged and the app stays stable if something goes wrong. - Connectivity detection now always produces an initial value, even if the OS check throws on boot. Behind the scenes - Backend error logs are tighter and never dump full error objects (no more accidental leaks of tokens or env vars into logs). - Push notifications for safety check-ins and email bookings now fan out in parallel and failures are logged rather than swallowed. - Concierge AI errors now include the trip and user in the log line, so production issues are actually debuggable.
