SCAN THE COVER
Point your camera at the sleeve. WaxVault identifies the release from the artwork itself, so it works on the records that never carried a barcode at all: older pressings, small runs, private press, white labels and reissues. That is most of the vinyl worth cataloguing. Format-aware results let you choose the exact pressing before you save it, and barcodes still work when a record happens to have one. Five AI scans are included free each month; unlimited scanning requires Pro.
CATALOGUE VINYL AND CDs
Store artist, title, year, label, catalogue number, format, country, tracklist, notes, tags, condition and more. Import a Discogs collection or add records manually. Free, with no limit on how many records you catalogue.
TRACK VALUES
See marketplace-based estimates for individual records and your collection. Add a manual value when market data is unavailable. Free.
PLAN THE NEXT FIND
Smart Wishlist finds missing releases by artists you already collect, so you know what to look for before you go. Free.
MAP YOUR STORAGE
Build Kallax units, crates, shelves, CD shelves and towers. Assign every record to a labelled slot so you know where it lives. One storage unit is free; additional units require Pro.
DIG SMARTER IN THE SHOP (PRO)
For the people who go looking. Digger Mode is built for the racks. Scan a sleeve where you stand and WaxVault reads the shop's price sticker alongside Discogs market estimates, so you can tell a steal from a stretch before you reach for your wallet. Finish the dig and you get the spread: what you spent, what the records are estimated to be worth, and which finds were the good ones. Requires a WaxVault Pro subscription.
GRADE THE COPY YOU OWN (PRO)
Use AI-assisted Goldmine grading for the disc and sleeve. Results are estimates and should not replace professional grading for valuable records. Requires a WaxVault Pro subscription.

WHAT PRO COSTS
WaxVault Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
WaxVault is not a marketplace and does not process online record sales. Discogs data is used under its API terms. WaxVault is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discogs.

Fixes in this update:
- Fixed a bug that could wrongly show a Pro subscriber as being on the free plan after opening the scanner. If this happened to you, your Pro access is restored. Sorry about that.
- After a good dig, Wax Vault may now ask, once and politely, whether you'd like to rate the app. "Not now" means not now.
