I like the app because it offers more options than the website. I’ve been able to apply to more scholarships because of this. BUT! On the app it does not say how many words an essay will need for an application. I got rejected from a $5,000 scholarship because I didn’t know I needed 1000 words. Whole I’m not angry, I’m upset I was rejected for this opportunity because of one flaw the app has. I have no idea how many scholarships I will get rejected from because of this. Please fix this issue! I love scholarship owl and it’s opportunities, but this issue upset me :(

App is fine, dated though. Also, gives scholarships you cannot qualify for at all in several recommendations. It says they tell you before the free trial ends, never did for me and got charged when I just wanted to free trial. Their “refund policy” says they don’t refund the first payment. So there goes that $50.

Most scholarships on here aren’t verified, are scams, or are just fake. They make it very annoying to cancel a membership, which is already outrageously expensive for the service they provide.
