SwiftBrief is a focused speed reading app for PDFs and web articles. No accounts, no cloud uploads — just guided reading that keeps the source document visible while you work through it. Import a PDF from Files, paste a webpage URL, or send content in from the iOS share sheet. From there, a split-view reader guides you through the text one word at a time — with the original document always visible. Pause, adjust your speed, skip back, and pick up exactly where you left off. On supported Apple devices, SwiftBrief can generate on-device document summaries using Apple Intelligence — and open them directly back inside the Reader. No data leaves your device. Adaptive pacing adjusts naturally around longer words and punctuation, so reading feels measured rather than mechanical. Reader settings let you tune speed, font size, accent colour, and more to suit how you work. Your library keeps everything organised with filters, progress tracking, and favourites. The Stats tab tracks words read, time saved, and your reading milestones over time. Everything stays on your device. No sign-in required.
