Potluck makes coordinating food for any gathering easy. Thanksgiving, a backyard BBQ, game night, a holiday party: everyone knows who's bringing what. CREATE YOUR EVENT IN SECONDS Set the date, location, and dish slots. Ask for exactly what you need (Caesar salad, a dessert) or leave slots open so guests can surprise you. Add a welcome note guests see when they join. SHARE A LINK OR A CODE Every event gets a join code and an invite link. Text it, share it as an invite card, or read it out loud. Guests tap the link or enter the code to join. GUESTS CLAIM DISHES AND RSVP Guests tap Claim on any open dish, say what they're bringing, and add dietary info like gluten-free or vegan. They can RSVP and say how many people are coming. No more three bowls of potato salad. SEE REPLIES AS THEY COME IN Get a notification when someone claims a dish or RSVPs. Insights show how many dishes are claimed and what's still needed before the big day. INVITE CARDS Make an invite card with 5 free themes, or 10 more with Pro. DISH GALLERY After the event starts, hosts can add photos of the dishes to a shared gallery. With Pro, guests can add theirs too. Events are shared through iCloud, so hosts and guests need to be signed in to iCloud on their iPhone. No separate account needed. POTLUCK PRO Free hosts can run 1 potluck a month. Potluck Pro adds: • Unlimited potlucks • Unlimited host photos, plus guest photo uploads at your events • Custom join codes • 10 more invite card themes • Per-guest insights breakdown • Dietary tags when adding dishes Potluck Pro is $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Guests are always free. Edit??

It’s not possible to edit the details of an event so if your time changes, you have to delete the event and start all over again

Developer Response
Thanks so much for flagging this. You're absolutely right, and it was a real gap. We've just built event editing and it's coming in our next update (version 1.0.3, submitted to Apple now).Once you're on the update, here's how it works:1. Open the event you're hosting.2. Tap the ••• menu in the top-right corner.3. Choose Edit Details.4. Change the date, time, location, name, or host note, then tap Save.Your join code, dishes, and everyone's claims all stay intact, so guests won't lose anything. (Your code stays the same on purpose, since you've already shared it.)Really appreciate you taking the time to write in. It directly shaped this update. 🙏

As an event host and community enthusiast, this app makes it extremely easy to organize events. Sign in is smooth, roles are easy to assign and manage, and everything is built to be simple and easy to use. The devs really listen to their users and update features based on real feedback. Thanks for a great app team!

We paid the 6.99 for it still not to work for a family event that's approaching !!!

Developer Response
Really sorry, especially with your event coming up. Paying for something that then doesn't work is the worst, and we want to make it right before your family event.Apple doesn't let us reply privately here, so please reach us at didyu.app/contact and tell us what's happening (what you tap and what goes wrong). We usually reply the same day and can get you unstuck fast. If the fix helps, we'd really appreciate a second look at the rating.
