Thank you to everyone for using The Huting App and the overwhleming support! This version brings support for iPad making it easier to plan and review your hunts. We have added icons, features and fixed bugs based on your feedback.

Version 2.0 is the biggest update yet. Encrypted cloud backup and sync Sign in once and your maps, waypoints, tracks, collections and licences back up and sync across your devices. Everything is end-to-end encrypted, so only you can read it. Hunting groups and chat Start a group, invite your mates with a link, and share a group chat with photos, voice messages and waypoints. Share your live location while a hunt is on. Hunt planning Plan a hunt with dates and RSVPs, draw zones, mark stands, check shooting lanes and lines of sight, measure distance and read elevation profiles before you leave home. Premium map layers Curated hunting overlays such as contours, public land and hunting area boundaries, water and vehicle tracks. Your own map layers Save a KML, KMZ, GPX or GeoJSON of zones and boundaries as its own layer, keeping the colours from the file, then toggle it on and off from My Layers. Weather and 3D terrain Wind, forecast, sunrise, sunset and moon phase for any point on the map, plus 3D terrain for reading ridgelines and gullies. Gear checklists Build a packing list for each hunt and tick it off as you load up. Harvest and gallery Keep the photos and video from a hunt with the hunt itself, and choose whether the group sees them. Audio navigation Spoken bearing and distance to your target, hands-free. Also new Map opacity so you can fade one map over another. Photos and video on waypoints. Per-collection marker styles and marker labels on the map. Landscape map mode. Plus Cloud sync, groups, hunt planning, weather, 3D terrain and premium layers come with a Plus subscription. Offline maps, waypoints, tracks, imports and Field Lock Mode stay free.

In this update we have added the ability to export your Collections and Waypoints to KML, GPX or GeoJSON. We have made improvements to the track recording accuracy and saved tracks. We will continue monitoring results. Various bugs have also been resolved. We are working towards v2 of The Hunting App so stay tuned. We will continue to release intermittent updates with critical features or bug fixes.

We have fixed a bug which was causing map files, licenses and photos to not persist across app updates.
