HERDMASTER is a herd management app built for rabbit and cavy breeders. Keep essential records organized at home, in the barn, and at shows. Keep working with locally stored herd records offline after sign-in and any required account checks.
MANAGE YOUR HERD
• Create detailed animal profiles with identification, breed, variety, purpose, ownership, photos, notes, and history.
• Search and organize active, sold, transferred, and archived animals.
• Track weights, health records, schedules, and important dates.
BREEDING AND LITTERS
• Plan and record breedings with species-aware milestones.
• Track pregnancies, litters, kits, fostering, weaning, and outcomes.
• Keep sire, dam, and descendant information connected.
PEDIGREES AND IMPORTS
• Pedigrees show the animal with its parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
• Generate polished pedigree PDFs and share them through iOS.
• Import from Evans (XML, HTM, or text-based PDF pedigrees) and Everbreed (CSV exports or a public pedigree link). Import options vary by plan.
SHOW TOOLS
• Prepare rabbit and cavy show entries using breed and age-class rules.
• Organize multiple shows in one weekend, review entries, override classes when needed, and hand a completed entry to iOS Mail.
• Record show results and winnings with the animal's history.
SALES AND PAYMENT REQUESTS
• Record the buyer and sold date on each animal.
• Share a Venmo or PayPal payment request for physical animal-related transactions. HERDMASTER does not process or confirm those payments.
SYNC, BACKUP, AND CONTROL
• iCloud sync is a limited pilot feature. The pilot is temporarily paused, so iCloud sync is not currently available. If the pilot resumes, access will be limited to approved participants who also have a Breeder or Show Breeder plan. Purchasing a plan does not grant pilot access.
• Export records and delete your account from inside the app.
HERDMASTER accounts must be created and maintained by an adult age 18 or older. A person age 13 through 17 may use HERDMASTER only through an account created and maintained by that person's parent or legal guardian.

I have been waiting for this software ever since Joe Kim first posted about it, and I seriously cannot wait to get our entire rabbitry set up! And I am not tech savvy at all! But finding this easy to navigate while it’s also being big time modernized. Other programs worked over the years, but HerdMaster has all the things we need in one app! One thing I absolutely LOVE is that the people/breeders behind HerdMaster are actually listening to other breeders! They’re taking feedback, hearing what we want and need, and working toward making this an incredible all-in-one herd management experience. As someone who raises and shows rabbits, I’ve been looking for something that brings all aspects of herd management together in one place, and this app does exactly that.What really sets HerdMaster apart is that it was developed by serious breeders who understand what rabbit and cavy breeders actually need. Whether you’re just getting started or managing a large, competitive show herd, this app has something for everyone.From breeding records and pedigrees to show entries, results, and individual animal records, it’s incredibly well thought out, intuitive, and practical. It’s obvious that a lot of firsthand experience went into developing it.I especially appreciate that it goes beyond basic breeding records and includes the tools show breeders actually need. Everyone knows how daunting it is to think about switching your software, pedigrees getting lost or transferred wrong, having to be online to see everything, app crashes. This app is a game changer! We have went through 3 different ways to track our rabbitry and once we trialed this, our search is no more! They have really outdone themselves with this. Lunar calendar, show entries, tabs for fostering litters, tattoo/litter management, a tag system for keeping up with everyone is FANTASTIC! 10/10 would recommend to any breeder big or small
