Precision Rifle Timer is a shooting timer for Apple Watch and iPhone. Pick a duration, shake your watch to start, and hear spoken announcements at intervals you choose — even with your wrist down, the screen off, or Bluetooth ear-pro on.
Built for precision rifle shooters and any timed shooting drill where you need your eyes and hands on the rifle-- not on a stopwatch.
WHAT YOU GET
• Spoken interval announcements (e.g. "30 seconds remaining")
• Background audio that keeps playing with wrist down or screen off
• Shake-to-start with audible "Engage" cue
• Final-second countdown ending with spoken "Time"
• Live heart-rate (BPM) and calorie display on the watch during each session
• Session history on iPhone — every completed shooting session saved as an Apple Health workout with duration, heart rate, and calories
• Toggle to turn session-saving off if you'd rather not record to Health
• 1–6 quick-start presets for common timer setups
• iPhone ↔ Apple Watch settings sync — configure on whichever device is convenient
• Bluetooth headphone audio supported
• Adjustable audio latency compensation for tight timing
PURCHASE REQUIRED
Precision Rifle Timer requires a paid plan to use. After installing, you'll be asked to choose one of:
• Monthly — $4.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial
• Yearly — $49.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial (saves about $10 vs. paying monthly)
• Lifetime — $149.99 one-time purchase, no auto-renewal
The 7-day free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase that does not auto-renew.
HEALTHKIT
Precision Rifle Timer uses Apple's HealthKit framework on the Apple Watch to give you a real-time view of your effort during a shooting session and to keep a record of each session you complete. With your permission, the watch app reads your heart rate and active energy from Apple Health during a session and shows them live on the timer screen, and saves each completed session to Apple Health as a workout (duration, heart-rate samples, and active energy). You can review past sessions on the "Sessions" tab in the iPhone app. All HealthKit data stays on your device — nothing is transmitted to the developer or to any third party. You can disable session saving at any time in the watch app's settings, and you can revoke HealthKit access entirely through the Health app or iPhone Settings.
