GadAAC

Talk with pictures - AAC + AI

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

GadAAC is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app that turns a phone or tablet into a full communication device. It helps children and adults who are non-speaking or have limited speech — people on the autism spectrum, and those with aphasia, mutism, multiple disabilities and other communication difficulties. The app is free. Building a message is simple: tap pictures (pictograms) and the app assembles them into a sentence and reads it aloud. FREE — NO ACCOUNT • Thousands of ARASAAC symbols in clear, color-coded categories (food, drink, emotions, places, people, play and much more) • Text-to-speech — single words and whole sentences in a natural voice • A suggestion strip that learns your sentences and offers the next symbols — learning happens on the device • Symbol search across the whole category tree • Display modes for every need: light, dark, black & white, and high contrast • Adjustable tile size, UPPERCASE labels, large touch targets • Clock, stopwatch and timer — support for routines and transitions • A gentle "How do you feel?" check-in • Letters and numbers for spelling LANGUAGES • App interface in 15 languages: Polish, English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Greek, Swedish, Croatian, Czech, Slovak, Italian, Lithuanian and Turkish • Tile captions and speech in 15 languages — including two languages at once (bilingual mode, great for bilingual families) FREE — WITH A FREE ACCOUNT Create a free account (email) to sync across devices and turn on AI-powered features and day planning — all at no cost: • Sync your settings across devices • Custom tiles from photos — taken with the camera or picked from the gallery • Photo AAC — take a photo and AI matches tiles to it • Song AAC — paste song lyrics and AI lays them out in symbols • Day Plan & Weekly Template — a visual, tile-based schedule • First / Then — the classic motivating AAC sequence ACCESSIBILITY GadAAC is built for neurodivergent users: a clear layout, screen-reader labels (VoiceOver / TalkBack), large touch targets, a high-contrast mode and a calm dark mode. Symbols are from the ARASAAC library (CC BY-NC-SA), © Government of Aragon and authors. Terms: gadaac.com/terms · Privacy: gadaac.com/privacy
