The simplest, best, free meditation in the world. The simplest, best, free meditation in the world. Drag a candle to the length you want to sit. Release. The flame catches. A meditation begins. That's the whole interface. No tabs, no libraries, no streaks demanding attention, no leaderboards. HOW IT WORKS Drag the candle up. The further you pull, the longer the session — the app snaps to 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Release the candle. The flame ignites and a guided meditation begins automatically. The candle burns down in real time as the audio plays. When the wax runs out, a single bell rings, and you're done. WHAT'S INSIDE • Guided meditations across multiple lengths and traditions — pointing-out instructions in the non-dual tradition, breath anchoring, body settling, and more. • Each meditation is hand-written. We add a few each month, slowly. • Voice rendering by ElevenLabs Voice Design. A slow, unhurried delivery in the tradition of the great nature documentaries. • Multiple visual themes for the candle. • Favorites — heart any meditation to save it for later. • Streaks and total minutes tracked locally so you can see your practice grow over time. WHAT GLIMMER DOESN'T DO • No accounts. No login. No email required. • No ads. Ever. • No subscription. The app is genuinely free. • No notifications guilting you about a missed day. • No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. PRIVACY Glimmer collects nothing about you. Your stats and favorites are stored locally on your phone — they never reach a server. The only network requests are anonymous downloads of meditation audio files.
