In a rigged world, let chance be fair. Coin, dice, wheel and more — every result drawn from cryptographic randomness. No favorites. No arguments. Just luck.
Who pays for lunch? Who goes first? Who's it? Stop arguing — hold up your wrist and let pure chance decide.
DoomRoll is built on one idea: a decision is only fair if the randomness is real. Every flip, roll and spin is drawn from the system's cryptographic random generator, seeded by hardware entropy — statistically indistinguishable from true randomness. No bias, no patterns, nothing anyone can rig. When the watch decides, the argument is over.
NINE WAYS TO DECIDE
• Coin — a realistic flip with three random animation styles. Roughly one flip in a hundred lands on its edge for a rare tie.
• Doom Orb — twenty cryptic answers, summoned with a flick of your wrist.
• Yes/No — five suspense animations, from a damped pendulum to a crystal ball. Sometimes it just shrugs: MAYBE.
• Jiaobei — a pair of moon blocks that land YES, NO or ASK AGAIN.
• I Ching — the three-coin method: six throws build a hexagram line by line, shown with its number from 1 to 64.
• Spinner Wheel — save your friend group and let a colorful wheel land on a winner.
• Spinner Strip — a sliding ticker of names that slows to a stop with the winner under the pointer.
• Pointer — spin-the-bottle style: a single golden arrow.
• Roll — eleven polyhedral dice, d4 through d120. Throw handfuls, add a modifier, roll a d20 with advantage or disadvantage. Optional Smooth Dice mode softens painful streaks — without ever breaking fairness.
A WINNER, OR A WHOLE ORDER
One spin answers "who?". Switch on Elimination and the wheel keeps going until it has ranked everyone — first, second, third. Exactly what a standup, a game night or a chore rota needs.
MADE FOR YOUR WRIST
Hold your watch up so the whole group sees the result at the same moment. Turn the Digital Crown to wind up a throw, shake your wrist to let go, or double-tap your fingers. Ask Siri instead and get an answer out loud without opening the app: “Flip a coin with DoomRoll”, “Roll a die with DoomRoll”, “Ask DoomRoll yes or no”. On watchOS 11 and later, a watch face complication can roll a die straight from the face and keep the result in view — with the Extended Pack, it shows your latest result from the app too. Names stay masked on the complication by default.
SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
DoomRoll is fully translated into 45 languages, from Arabic, Hindi and Japanese to Polish, Thai and Ukrainian. It follows your watch automatically, and you can pick a different one inside the app at any time.
PRIVACY-FIRST, BY DESIGN
No tracking. No ads. Your results and history never leave your watch — the only thing that does is an anonymous purchase record, so your unlocks follow you.
WHAT'S FREE
Coin with all three animations, Pointer, Doom Orb, Yes/No, the Spinner Wheel with no limit on spins, the classic D6 with handfuls, modifiers and every throw animation, and up to three saved groups of four names. Jiaobei and I Ching are free as well.
PAY ONLY FOR WHAT YOU WANT
Three optional, one-time in-app purchases — no subscriptions, all with Family Sharing:
• Boardgames Pack — the other ten dice (d4–d120), a session log that keeps the stats of each game, unlimited groups, and Quick Mode.
• Extended Pack — every Doom Orb and Yes/No animation, the Spinner Strip, Elimination order draws, the history archive, Smooth Dice anti-streak, plus unlimited groups and Quick Mode.
• Full Pack — both packs together, for less than buying them separately.
Settle it fairly. Let chance decide.
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Two new ways to decide, both free. Jiaobei: throw a pair of moon blocks for YES, NO or ASK AGAIN. I Ching: cast a hexagram with three coins, one line per throw. Siri can throw the blocks or cast a hexagram without opening the app. Every result still comes from cryptographic randomness.
