What’s new in this update: • Zoom the document, not the whole app — Pinch a document, or use the zoom buttons, to zoom it up to 400 % while the buttons around it stay in place. • More room to read on a phone — A document now gets about a fifth more height on a phone. • Saving keeps going when the connection drops — The editor now keeps trying to save through a dropped connection and saves as soon as you are back online. • No more sign-outs on hotel and cafe Wi-Fi — A Wi-Fi sign-in page or a network in between no longer signs you out of Emm. • See what changed in your instructions — If you set up your instructions with the forms, the "What your AI reads" page now has a change history. • Folders update while a document is open — A folder made, renamed or deleted on another device or by an AI now shows up in the editor's Folder picker right away, without reopening the document. • Notices come back after you have been away — A notice you dismissed, such as memories waiting for review, shows again when you come back after several hours if something is still waiting.

What’s new in this update: • Real folders in Your space — Organise your wiki with folders you create, rename and delete, including empty ones. • Full document names on your phone — Long document names no longer cut off after a few characters on a phone, so two documents that start the same way are easy to tell apart. • Hide documents shared with you — Hide from my list tidies Shared with me without ending the share, and a new Hidden tab is where you unhide it. • Sharing on your Dashboard — The Dashboard has a Manage Sharing shortcut next to View All Memory and Manage Connections, whenever Sharing is in your menu. • A new document says when auto-save starts — A new document showed "Auto-save on" but was only saved when you pressed Save. • The auto-save switch stays visible while you type on a phone — Typing in a document on a phone hid the auto-save switch, although auto-save kept working. • Shared documents clear the status bar — In the iPhone and iPad app, a shared document and the Terms and Privacy pages started under the status bar and the camera notch. • Help is easier to find your way around — Help is now five tabs: Get started, Using Emm, Ideas, Reference, and News & support. • Pinch to zoom — Every screen in the app can be zoomed with a pinch, including documents. • Choose whose documents the Wiki's Recent tab shows — Recent mixed your own documents with everything your AI wrote, run logs included. • Clearer messages when a document can't be saved — Saving a document that has grown too large, or pasting a whole web page into a note, now shows a plain message saying what to change.

What’s new in this update: • The forms count accents and emoji the way the limit does — A name or rule with accented letters or emoji could show room left and still be refused as too long. • Double-click to edit lands on the line you clicked — Double-clicking a line just as Live Edit opened, or on a slower device, could open the editor somewhere else with your line off-screen. • Double-tap to edit on the phone shows the line you tapped — On the phone, double-tapping a line far down a long document opened the editor on the section before it, with your line out of sight. • The Mac app refreshes after the lid opens — After the Mac woke from a closed lid, the app could keep showing what it had before you closed it until something else reloaded it. • Email filtering lives on the About you form — The topics Email Triage and the news report flag as worth reading, and the newsletter senders they never offer to unsubscribe, now have their own fields under About you. • Clearer instructions, fewer switches — The steps your agent follows were rewritten to be shorter and consistent, and every form and help text now says "the agent" and "you" the same way. • Agents can queue and refine one-off tasks — Your AI agents can now save a one-off task for later, ask what is missing, and get it ready, and you see which agent made it.

What’s new in this update: • Live Edit opens where you were reading — Pressing Live Edit while reading a long document used to jump to a different place, while double-clicking a paragraph kept your spot. • The text boxes on the simple forms now show bold, lists and links as formatting — Boxes such as Handle with care, Tone and a task's instructions used to show raw asterisks and dashes. • Deleting many log entries at once no longer looks stuck — Deleting a page of log entries made the app reload the list once per entry, so "Deleting…" stayed up for a long time. • Emm's improvements to its own instructions now wait for your approval — On the simple forms, Emm's documents about how your agents behave and the built-in tasks used to update on their own, and an edited one was announced as waiting with no way to act on it. • The Your tasks form no longer blocks on notes it filled in for you — If you switched to the simple forms after your AI had gathered a task's advice into one block, that task's notes could end up over the limit, and the form refused to save anything until you shortened them. • Clearer names on the forms — The box under each task is now "Your instructions for this task", and the box at the bottom of each form is "Other instructions", with a note on when your AI reads it: together with everything else on that form, whenever a task uses it. • A better prompt for tidying your instructions before you switch — The prompt you copy for your AI before switching to the simple forms now has it work out the current forms from Emm itself, keep Emm's own text, ask you grouped questions, and check word by word that nothing you wrote is lost.

What’s new in this update: • Set up your instructions in plain forms — Tell your agents who you are, how you write and which tasks to run, in three short forms on the Instructions page instead of editing documents. • Order your tasks and add notes to each — Turn tasks on or off, put them in the order a run does them, choose how often each runs, and add your own notes, such as the senders Email Triage should always keep. • Let your AI set you up — Your AI can now set up your instructions with you in a short chat: a few questions about you, how you write and what each run should do. • Prefer the documents? Switch to Advanced — You can still edit your instructions as text: choose Advanced on the Instructions page. • Edit your own instructions without unlocking — You no longer need to switch on Instructions-Update Mode to change your own instructions in the app. • See what your AI wants to change — When your AI asks to edit your instructions, the approval request now starts with the change it wants to make, so you know what you are approving. • See what your AI reads — On the forms, a new page shows the documents your AI is given, so you can check what it will follow. • A shorter Getting Started list — Getting Started now has three steps: connect an AI, set up your instructions and run your first agent run. • Use cases you can copy straight into your AI — Help now gives a ready-made prompt for each use case, with a Copy button and, where it helps, a link to the right place in the app.

What’s new in this update: • What's changed shows your latest edits — When you edit an instruction, What's changed now shows the change right away. • Keeping your version no longer undoes other changes — If an instruction with a template update waiting was changed somewhere else while you had it open, choosing to keep your version could undo that change. • Your edits are safe when you change a choice — Going back to change a choice in a template update now asks first, instead of losing the edits you made afterwards. • Full-screen memory editing keeps what you typed — When you move a memory from quick edit to full screen, the text you typed can now be saved, and closing warns you before it is lost. • Fewer unexpected sign-outs — The app is much less likely to sign you out when a sign-in renewal gets lost on the way back, which happened most often after waking from sleep. • Setup steps on the Help page count 1, 2, 3 — Finishing a step used to leave a gap in the numbering of the ones still to do. • A public page walks you through connecting Claude — You no longer have to sign in to find out how to connect Claude to Emm. • Three things to ask your AI first — After connecting, the setup guide and the Help page suggest three things to ask your AI first: one for memory, one for the wiki and one for tasks. • The Privacy Policy and Terms describe what actually happens — The Privacy Policy now says what a connected AI sends to Emm, which AI models process your data and where they run, and how long deleting your account takes, with a named contact. • Moving a document to another category is instant — Moving a Wiki document to another category is now instant and keeps its number.

What’s new in this update: • The Mac app follows links while reading — Clicking a link to another document in the Mac app did nothing unless you were editing. • Link suggestions include every category — Typing [ in the editor to link another document only suggested documents from Your space once you had many of them. • Banners no longer miss what happened while you were away — If your AI asked to update your instructions, a connection request came in, or memories arrived for review while the app was in the background or had lost its connection, the banner could stay hidden until you had been away five minutes or reloaded. • Approve an instructions request from Settings — When your AI has asked to update your instructions, Settings now shows which app asked, why, and when, and turning on Instructions-Update Mode there approves that request. • Reviewed memories stay reviewed — Reopening the memory review could list memories you had already reviewed; they now stay off the list while you are signed in. • Signing out of the app ends its session completely — Signing out of the iPhone, Android or Mac app now also cancels the app's long-lived sign-in on our servers, not just the short-lived one. • See how many memories are waiting for review — The number of memories your AI saved for you to review now shows next to My Memory in the menu. • The memory review opens as one window — Opening the review from the Memory page's To Review card used to leave the review banner showing behind it, and opening it from the banner left the card showing. • Notifications no longer cover the menu on a phone — On a small screen, notification banners could cover the menu button or run off the bottom of the screen.

What’s new in this update: • Pin a Wiki document to your Dashboard — Open any Wiki document, tick "Show on Dashboard," and save — it now shows up right on your Dashboard page, alongside your Actions list. • The Tasks page updates on its own — When your AI agent picks up or finishes a one-off task, or you change one on another device, the Tasks page now shows it straight away — no refresh, and no switching back to the tab first. • Double-clicking into a Wiki document lands where you clicked — Double-clicking a line or a word in a Wiki document to start editing could drop the cursor on the wrong line or the wrong occurrence of a word, or scroll it out of view with no cursor visible anywhere — most likely on a longer document, or right after opening one.

What’s new in this update: • Emm stops signing you out when it doesn’t need to — If your session had simply gone stale — after the app sat in the background for a long time, during a brief network hiccup, or when you reloaded the page — Emm could drop you back at the sign-in screen and make you log in again, even though nothing was wrong with your account. • Task and context-builder screens recover on their own — When your session had gone stale, these two screens showed a generic failure and left you looking at a page that never loaded — the rest of the app would have quietly renewed the session and carried on.

What’s new in this update: • The app checks in with the server less often — Your account status, the "memories to review" notice, remote-memory cards, and the instructions-update badge used to each ask the server again a little while after opening the app, even when nothing had changed.

What’s new in this update: • Double-clicking to start editing keeps your place — Double-clicking a line in a Wiki document or an instruction to start editing it used to shove the whole page downwards, so the line you picked — and the cursor — ended up somewhere off the screen and you had to go hunting for it. • Back takes you to where you were reading — Following a link from one Wiki document to another and then pressing Back used to drop you right at the top of the document you came from, so on a long page you had to scroll back down to find your place. • The app opens faster — Emm takes noticeably less time to be ready to use when you open it, and the Wiki opens quicker too.

What’s new in this update: • The app no longer comes back to a blank white window — Leaving the app sitting in the background could bring you back to a blank white window that stayed blank — no amount of clicking or switching away and back would revive it, and only quitting and reopening got you moving again. • Checkboxes stay put when you tick them — Ticking a checkbox in a Wiki document while editing could fling the page toward the top, leaving you hunting for the line you just clicked. • The memory review no longer closes itself — Opening Review Memories could occasionally flash "all caught up" and close on its own, even though the notification had counted new memories — and in rare timing, quietly skip past a memory that really was waiting. • Deleting a batch of log entries finishes — Selecting a stack of old log entries and hitting Delete could stall and then report an error, with the rows reappearing in the list and the rest of the selection left untouched — most likely once the log had built up a few hundred entries.

What’s new in this update: • Your AI knows what to do when something goes wrong — When Emm cannot be reached or a request comes back with an error, your connected AI now has a troubleshooting guide to turn to instead of guessing. • A blank Mac window comes back on its own — If the Mac app ever went white and stayed that way until you force-quit it, it now notices and brings itself back — including when you click in the blank window. • The Mac app no longer reloads and loses what you were typing — The app used to reload itself whenever it could not tell whether the page was still healthy — and a page that is simply busy is exactly the kind that cannot answer straight away.

What’s new in this update: • The "new memories to review" notice stays dismissed — Dismissing or accepting the notice could bring it straight back moments later, and a run that filed five memories could raise it five times over. • Words typed while saving are no longer swallowed — Emm saves as you write. • Documents keep their folder and their own name — An edit could move a document to the top level, or rename it after one you opened through a wiki link. • The guard against overwriting an agent's edit is working again — Your save could overwrite an agent's change without asking you first. • Two documents can no longer end up at the same name — Renaming or moving onto an occupied name is now refused. • Turning Instructions-Update Mode off unblocks the page you have open — While the mode is on, saving to your wiki is paused — but turning it off again never reached a document you already had open, so it kept refusing to save until you closed and re-opened it. • A big paste is no longer saved before you can look at it — Pasting a large block of text pauses auto-save so you can review it in the diff first.

What’s new in this update: • A scheduled run and one you start yourself no longer fight — Until now, starting an agent run silently cancelled whatever was already running. • Your tasks are handed to one agent at a time — When two runs drained your task queue at the same time, both were given the same task and both did it. • Edits no longer land on the wrong page — On one account, an edit to a wiki page could overwrite a different page instead — the same fault also mis-recorded which agent run had finished. • Email Triage will not draft the same reply twice — Two overlapping runs that both saw the same approved reply each created a Gmail draft for it. • A connected AI client can no longer act with another client's permissions — If you had more than one AI client connected to Emm, the permissions worked out for one connection could be reused for another once they had both been active — so a read-only connection could make a change it should not have been allowed to make. • You get the notification when your AI asks to edit your instructions — An AI cannot turn on Instructions-Update Mode by itself — it has to ask you, and that ask should appear in your app as an Accept/Decline notification. • Every other notification gets the same safety net — Requests for access to your data, new memories to review, instructions ready to install and subscription changes all reached the app only over the live connection too. • Turn auto-save off when you want to review first — Auto-save writes your changes a couple of seconds after you stop typing — handy, but it meant a big paste was saved before you could look it over in the diff. • The subscribe screen now shows the full plan details — Each plan now spells out its title, how often it renews, the price and — for the yearly plan — the equivalent per-month cost, along with a short list of what Emm Premium includes and working links to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. • Right-sized close button in the apps — The close (X) button on pop-up dialogs was showing up oversized in the Mac, iOS and Android apps — most noticeably on the subscribe screen. • Typing a checklist no longer fights you — When your cursor is on a checklist line, the editor now shows the plain “- [ ]” text you’re typing instead of an opaque checkbox — so Backspace, Enter, and the arrow keys behave normally and stop deleting or scrambling what you wrote. • Documents auto-save as you write — While editing an existing document, your changes now save automatically a couple of seconds after you stop typing — with a small label showing unsaved / saving / saved. • Editing documents on your phone — Tapping into a document on the mobile app now gives you the whole screen above the keyboard: the header and Name/Folder fields fold away, Save stays in reach just above the keyboard, and you can scroll the entire document with your finger — no more text trapped behind the keyboard. • Clearer Wiki search results — Search hits now show which folder a document lives in and say in plain language how each one matched — “on meaning”, “on keyword”, or both.
