More comfortable practice, clearer feedback and a warmer piano sound. • Keep practising from results without starting a new session. • Improved iPhone layouts in portrait and landscape. • More consistent letter and do-re-mi note names. • Clearer help and better scale and keyboard layouts. • Refined tempo practice and a new sampled upright piano for demonstrations. • More reliable purchase reporting and standard Apple Ads measurement, described in our privacy policy.

A design pass over every screen, driven by a full audit of the app. The keyboard no longer inverts in dark mode. Black keys stayed black and white keys stayed ivory all along on paper, but the app was painting them with the same tokens it used for chrome, so in dark mode the sharps came out white. Fixed everywhere the keyboard appears, along with the badges and guides drawn on top of it. Right and wrong now carry a mark, not just a colour, and a missed answer no longer files itself under a heading that reads CORRECT. The purchase screen states what full access actually gets you, which it never did. Bigger drill cards with the instruction beside its subject instead of stranded at the bottom of the card. Proper iPad layout instead of phone screens stretched wide. Countdown, results and prompts that hold together at the largest accessibility text sizes rather than clipping each other. Bigger tap targets, honest tiles, and Reduce Motion respected throughout.

Sharper daily drills: note names respect your do-re-mi or letter setting throughout, a cleaner grand staff and truly random intervals, a header that always clears the Dynamic Island, and iOS 26 Liquid Glass polish.

Clef is now a full daily practice system. This is the first big update since launch. New - Custom lessons: build your own drill sets from any tracks and run them whenever you like. - An organized practice library: every track grouped into folders, so nothing is buried. - Hands Together: a two-hands reading mode for iPad or a connected MIDI keyboard. Improved - A cleaner practice screen that clears the notch, a scrollable lesson card, and steadier chord drills that always give you feedback. Pricing The full training system is now a subscription, with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time Lifetime unlock if you would rather buy once. Note reading stays free. And if you already bought Clef: thank you. You keep everything you paid for, forever. That promise does not change.
