New: Word Review brings back the words you saved, with the sentence you found them in. Read and listen to today's news at your level. Yearly plan: 7 days free.
Learn English with real news, rewritten at your level. Every day, new stories from around the world come in three versions (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), read aloud in a natural voice and followed by a short quiz. Tap any word to see its meaning in your language, save it, and review it before you forget.
ONE STORY, THREE LEVELS
• Beginner (A1-A2): short, simple sentences
• Intermediate (B1-B2): the key facts in everyday English
• Advanced (C1-C2): detailed, close to the original
Switch between levels with one tap.
GET HARD SENTENCES EXPLAINED
Stuck on a long sentence? "Explain this sentence" breaks down its meaning and grammar in your language (Premium). Word translations follow the sentence the word appears in; with the app in English you get a simple English definition instead. Words you save are highlighted when they appear in new stories.
REVIEW BEFORE YOU FORGET
Saved words come back with the original sentence from the story, spaced out over days so they stick. Hear each word pronounced in a natural voice. A few minutes a day builds lasting vocabulary.
LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG
Every story comes with audio. Follow Mode highlights each word as it is spoken, so your listening and reading improve together. Adjust the speed from 0.5x to 1.5x.
CHECK YOURSELF
Three questions at your level after every story, so you know whether you really understood it.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Reading streaks, badges, certificates and a weekly report show how far you've come.
