GOG — Grumpy Old Guy
Most mental health apps want to hold your hand. GOG is not one of them.
GOG is built for the average man who has real problems, real stress, and zero interest in being told to breathe deeply and journal his feelings. If you stub your toe and cry about it, this isn't your app. If you'd rather get straight talk than a warm hug, keep reading.
GOG talks to you like your dad would. Direct. Honest. No filter. No therapy-speak. No b******t.
What GOG does:
Talk to GOG — An ongoing chat with an AI that doesn't sugarcoat anything. Bring it your worst. GOG handles it.
Decision Tree — Work through any real problem step by step. Figure out where you actually stand and what you're going to do about it.
Man Audit — A straight assessment of where your life is at right now. No easy answers.
Goals — Turn what's bothering you into something you actually follow through on. GOG checks in. GOG remembers. GOG doesn't let it die quietly.
Three tones — Pick how hard you want GOG to come at you. Gentle, Real Life, or Brutal. Your call.
Why it exists:
I built GOG because I've been at the end of my rope. I've been at my breaking point. I've seen that the justice system has nothing to do with justice, and I've watched men fall apart when they got vulnerable because nobody talked to them like a man. GOG is that place. A safe place that doesn't feel like one.
This app was built by one guy. A Canadian electrician on night shift who needed it and couldn't find it. So he built it.
