Recordings and processing now keep working when you lock your phone. - No more crash when the screen is locked while a meeting is being transcribed. - Meetings keep processing in the background (iOS 26 and later) and you get a "Meeting ready" notification when the summary is done: tap it to open the meeting. - Stop a recording straight from the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. - A phone call pauses the recording and it resumes automatically; if the app is in the background you get a "tap to resume" notification. - Speaker detection is much more accurate: one person is one speaker, and two people are two. - Recording starts instantly when you press +. - Model downloads ask for confirmation first, show their size, and warn when you are on cellular data. Downloads are verified automatically. - The meeting screen shows download progress while a model is being fetched. - Fixes an issue where the Qwen model download could get stuck at 100%.

This update fixes crashes and makes processing more reliable. • Fixed a crash during speaker detection that could then crash Recall at every launch until the recording was deleted. Affected recordings are processed normally after updating. • If processing keeps failing on a recording, it is now marked as failed with a Retry button instead of crashing the app. • Recordings waiting to be transcribed are no longer removed by automatic retention cleanup, and recordings that failed before transcription are retried once. • Recording is more reliable when another app is using the microphone. • Long meetings no longer crash during processing and use far less memory. • Real processing progress with step-by-step status, and processing keeps running longer in the background. • Better recovery of recordings interrupted by a crash or a force-quit.
