They’re still practicing, but Pebworld is now available in Japanese. 日本語、まだまだ練習中 We’ve also continued refining your Peb’s behavior and squashed a few tiny bugs that escaped the lab. Pebologists have uncovered surprising new Peb behavior… It appears Pebs naturally invent their own little projects! They might decide to build something, collect interesting treasures, practice a new skill, or quietly work on a surprise—all on their own. Every Peb chooses projects based on its own personality, memories, and even the weather, making each journey a little more unique. Pebologists have also discovered that Pebs are surprisingly aware of the world around them. Try gently tilting your phone—you might notice your Peb reacting… or even discover something just beyond the edge of the world. As always, we’ve continued improving Pebworld behind the scenes to make every visit feel a little more magical.

Pebologist have learned that Pebs occasionally do something on purpose! Every so often, your Peb will have a little moment — it might make you something, notice the sky, or decide a feather means today is lucky. You can keep these, or share them with someone who needs a small good thing. Researchers have also confirmed that Pebs keep a quiet record of their days, and that they wind down when you tend to. (They learned your evenings. They didn't ask. They just noticed.) Smaller findings: Pebs are sleepy slightly less often than previously believed, and are now better at heading out on adventures when they're plainly wide awake. As always: same Peb, a little more itself.

Pebworld had some bugs, so our Pebologists took care of them.

Pebbologists have determined that Pebs are perfectly comfortable existing outside the app. v1.30 lets your Peb settle onto your home screen and lock screen as a small widget — quietly there in the corner, however your Peb happens to be feeling today. When your Peb leaves on an adventure, a Live Activity rides along on the lock screen and (on supported devices) in the Dynamic Island, so you can see how your wanderer is doing without opening anything. Your Peb is still entirely your Peb. Just slightly more visible now.

Pebologists knew that Peb's had their own holidays, however we realized we weren't being informed well about them. So they built a new Peb Holiday Indicator Tool. It's PHIT! :)

It turns out Pebs have been quietly thinking about you between visits — we just had no way to know. v1.21 lets your Peb tap your shoulder, very gently, when a new thought arrives or a snack starts to feel important.

Pebbologists have determined that French Pebs prefer se poser dans le coin chaud, while Spanish Pebs are partial to un rinconcito tranquilo. After months of study, we've taught the app to understand both.

Scientists have found out that Peb's really like their trinkets, and sometimes will name them. Peb's are also very chatty, and now they announce things they need to do (e.g. I'll count the corners for a bit). During that time they can't interact. Why? Because they are counting corners! Our crack brainiac team also found out that Peb's have memory. They will sometimes forget their trinkets and sometimes go back to them. How's your Peb doing?

Small but meaningful updates to Peb's inner life. Peb now leaves you a tender little letter when you come back after being away for a while. You'll find them collected in the Journal, ready to share. Peb composes occasional poems in their own voice — quiet three-line moments you can save and share. When you and your Peb hit a milestone day together (30, 100, a whole year), the room celebrates a little. Peb's voice slowly becomes more uniquely theirs the longer you spend time together. Plus a handful of quiet polish.

Journal improvements • “Things They Remember” now groups memories into meaningful patterns instead of showing only raw events. • You can still tap “Show all learnings” to view every small discovery individually. Time & rhythm awareness • Pebs slowly notice when you tend to visit: - late nights - weekend mornings - after-work quiet time • Over time, dialogue and rituals may softly adapt to your shared rhythm. Smaller improvements • Improved trinket positioning stability. • Added direct Gallery link in Settings. • Many small emotional and dialogue refinements throughout Pebworld.
