This update sharpens the interface and fixes a couple of small display issues for a cleaner, more reliable experience. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

Version 1.4 adds a regulation attempt journal, a magnetism / demagnetisation log, and a substantially expanded calibre sensitivity database: - Regulation Journal - after applying clicks to your regulator, log exactly what you did (calibre family, click count, direction). Escapement records the pre-adjustment rate and the model's predicted post-adjustment rate. Once you log your next accuracy reading, the app automatically compares the actual result to the prediction - so you build an empirical record of how your specific movement responds to regulation. Found on each watch's detail screen under Regulation Journal. - Magnetic Events log - magnetism is the most common cause of sudden large positive rate spikes (+20 to +90 s/day). The new magnetic log tracks both suspected magnetisation incidents and confirmed demagnetisation visits. Log the rate before and after demagnetisation and the app computes the measured improvement. Events appear on the detail screen and in the PDF accuracy report. Reference note based on the METAS 15 000 A/m magnetic resistance standard used in Master Chronometer certification. - Expanded calibre database - the Regulator Calculator now lists 25 calibre families, up from 9. Version 1.3 adds mainspring power reserve tracking, a strap rotation log, and a regulator correction calculator: • Power reserve gauge — live arc gauge on each watch's detail screen estimates remaining mainspring reserve from your most recent wind event. Automatic watches credit rotor-winding time (1 h worn = 1 h restored); manual-wind watches scale from crowns turned. Updates every minute; color shifts green → amber → red as reserve depletes. • Strap log — maintain a complete strap drawer per watch. Record material (leather, rubber, NATO, metal, nylon, canvas, exotic), brand, color, and lug width. Swipe to mount a strap (time-stamps the mount and accumulates cumulative wear hours on the outgoing strap); swipe to retire a strap from the drawer. The detail screen shows the currently mounted strap at a glance. • Regulator calculator — enter your current s/day rate, pick a calibre family (ETA 2824, ETA 2892, ETA 7750, Seiko 6R/NH, Seiko 4R/Spring Drive, Rolex 31xx, Omega 85xx, Unitas 6497/98, or enter a custom sensitivity), and the tool outputs exactly how many quarter-turn clicks to move the regulation index and in which direction (toward F/Avance or S/Retard). Residual error and over/under-correction are shown so you know whether a second pass is needed. Found in the Reference tab.

Escapement 1.2 adds a PDF per-watch accuracy report (drift, per-position breakdown, regulation suggestion, recent readings, service history), CSV export for a single watch or your whole collection, and a deeper offline horology reference: amplitude and beat-error interpretation guides, and a cert-tier library including the new COSC Excellence Chronometer standard. Fully offline — no account, no tracking.
