Take your queue with you. Settings now has an Exports section: send your unread queue to your e-reader as a book, or export your highlights. Send to Kindle: save your Kindle address once and the book goes straight there. Your Kindles sync to your other devices through iCloud. Three new Shortcuts actions: Save to The Lede, Get Latest Briefs, and Open Article. Every Dig Deeper now says which sources the desk wrote from and asks you to check the ones that matter, with a row to report a problem. Fixes: a pasted link the desk couldn't read no longer waits forever on "On its way," source dates show the right day, and VoiceOver and large text work better throughout.

Ready for iPhone Duo. The reader and your queue lay out properly folded and open. A new reader now starts with a sample brief, so you can see what the desk does before you save anything. Paste a link: tap the + at the top of your queue to send any article to the desk without leaving the app. The tips for sharing from Safari now match iOS 27, and tapping them shows you how to pin The Lede to the front of your share sheet. When a save doesn't come through, the article page now says so plainly and lets you try again.

The desk asks to send notifications the first time you Dig Deeper, and it says why before it asks. Nothing on launch. When the desk reaches a page but can't pull the text out, it says so and tells you what to do next. Deleting a highlight asks first. The passage and its note are gone for good, so the app checks you meant it. Restore purchases tells you what it found. Fixes at the largest text sizes, and one name for each thing throughout the app.
