drinks by peckish is a cocktail app with two sides: it picks one drink for tonight from the bottles you already have, and it keeps a curated book of cocktails worth reading.
the pick — snap a photo of your shelf, say what you've got, or type it in. name the moment: a friday after a hard week, a small group on a porch in spring, a quiet apero before dinner. one drink comes back, with a short note on why this one, in this moment, with these bottles.
the book — the classics and the modern greats, each with its history, its technique, and why it works. it's built on a simple idea: every cocktail is a variation of just six foundational drinks. search any one to read its story, pour its spec, and see which your bar can already make. a reference worth keeping, written by people who care — not an endless feed to scroll.
no upsell carousels. no "Discover." no card shadows. just one good drink tonight, and a real book behind it.
free, you get those six foundations in full — each with three of its variations, twenty-four cocktails in all — plus all three ways of adding your bar, and five picks a day, fresh every morning. a real product, not a teaser.
the full bar (annual or lifetime) opens the rest of the collection, saves your bar over time, and lifts the picks-per-day limit.

grow your bar — peckish now helps you build your shelf with intent. it looks at the bottles you own, finds the single one that unlocks the most cocktails, and names the drink you'll be able to pour the moment it arrives — along with everything else that comes with it. one considered bottle at a time, never a shopping list.
we also smoothed the edges: steadier bottle-scanning, a warmer welcome when you open the app, and small refinements throughout.
