Powered by your location and real solar geometry, it renders a time-reactive sky that shifts continuously across 17 hand-crafted colour stops - deep indigo at midnight, warm coral at dawn, cerulean at noon, violet at dusk. The colour is the clock. GOLDEN HOUR AND BLUE HOUR Know exactly when the warm light arrives, and when the blue hour frames it - morning and evening. The windows are derived from real sun elevation, not a fixed hour either side of sunset, so they lengthen and shorten correctly with the season and your latitude. PLAINS IS NOW COUNTRYSIDE A clearer name for the same horizon. Whatever you had selected stays selected. ONE HORIZON STAYS HIDDEN There is a backdrop you cannot choose in Settings. It appears on its own, the day you open Astro in the right city. Plus a smoother first run and a handful of small fixes.
