Reckon: To-Do List & Tasks
Fast, calm to-do. No account.
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Reckon is a fast, calm, native to-do app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch — and you can start using it in seconds. No account. No Notion. No AI you didn't ask for. Just your tasks, on your devices.
Open the app and your first task is one tap away. Type naturally — "call the dentist tomorrow 9am !p2 #personal" — and Reckon files the date, priority, and tags for you. Capture with Siri, the Share Sheet, or a Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Control Center widget, and tick things off without ever opening the app.
START WITH NO ACCOUNT
Local mode is a permanent, first-class way to use Reckon — not a trial. Your tasks live on your devices and, if you're signed into iCloud, back up privately to your own iCloud account. Plenty of people never connect anything and never need to.
WORKS WITH APPLE REMINDERS — AND YOUR WATCH
Flip one switch and your tasks mirror into a dedicated Apple Reminders list. Complete a task from your Apple Watch and Reckon marks it done everywhere — including Notion, if you're connected. Siri and every built-in Apple surface just work.
PLAN YOUR DAY, CALMLY
Plan My Day helps you pick the few things that matter today, and capture-time prompts nudge you to decide when and where you'll do a task — the best-evidenced trick in behavioral science for actually following through. Overdue, Snoozed, and Upcoming keep everything honest without shouting at you.
SMART LISTS, PROJECTS, HABITS & STATS
Save your own Smart Lists (like My Tasks — everything assigned to you), organize with projects and #tags, and track habits with a gentle 30-day view. No streaks, no guilt — showing up is the point. Stats shows your momentum when you want it.
CALM BY DESIGN
No AI is turned on by default — no chatbot in your face, no model reading over your shoulder. Optional planning helpers run entirely on your device. We never train AI on your data, ever.
GROWS INTO NOTION WHEN YOU'RE READY
Already live in Notion, or want to one day? Connect your workspace and bring your local tasks across in a one-way move. After that, Notion is the source of truth and Reckon stays your fast capture front-end — keep adding and completing from the Lock Screen, your Watch, or a widget, with changes synced back to the Notion database you already trust.
YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES
In local mode your tasks never leave your devices. Connect Notion and your task content lives in your own workspace — Reckon's servers only proxy the API and never store it, with access tokens encrypted at rest. Disconnect any time. No ads, no data selling, no profiling.
BUILT NATIVE
Real SwiftUI, real widgets, real Siri intents, Spotlight search, a command palette on iPad and Mac — fast and quiet, the way an Apple app should feel.
Reckon is free. If we ever introduce a paid tier it will be a one-time purchase — never a subscription — and connecting Notion will always cost nothing extra.
Reckon is built by Carrotly Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion Labs, Inc.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
First-session polish from a top-to-bottom walk of the app:
• Onboarding no longer asks the same question twice, and Connect Notion leads with Notion.
• Plan My Day is on by default and never dead-ends on an empty task list.
• Times you type ("tomorrow 9am") now show in every list; date-only tasks no longer pick up an invented noon.
• Today no longer goes stale overnight — reopen the app and it is already on the right day.
• Undo toasts and first-run tips no longer cover each other or the tab bar.
• Smaller fixes to triage progress, starter Smart Lists, and urgent alarms.
