Read the air leak the way you would at the bedside. NEW — Reading the bubbling • The water-seal / air-leak monitor now shows the clinically critical difference between INTERMITTENT bubbling (short bursts with quiet gaps, in time with breathing) and CONTINUOUS bubbling (a persistent, nonstop stream). • Choose the pattern and severity, trigger a cough, forced exhale, or reposition to bring out a leak, or run a resolving or worsening scenario and watch the pattern trend on its own. • A short teaching caption names the pattern and what to assess, and a new "Reading the bubbling" quiz checks your understanding. • Preset scenarios are now pattern-accurate — pneumothorax vents intermittently; a system leak bubbles continuously. REFINED • Cleaned up the Learn content: answer options now wrap fully, tightened a few captions, and clarified that the bellows reaching its mark — not a fixed wall-suction number — is what confirms suction is being delivered. Breathing patient • The patient now visibly inhales and exhales, perfectly synced with the water-seal tidaling. • An affected lung only expands as far as its condition allows — a tension pneumothorax barely moves and breathes fast, while a healthy lung fills slow and deep. • The Pressure Lab's respiration is bigger and clearer, and its collapsed lungs now breathe within their limits. Simulator • The suction control dial follows your finger precisely as you drag, and a tap opens the teaching card instead of changing the setting. • Scenario presets always start from a clean baseline, so switching scenarios shows the correct findings and alerts. Learn & Quizzes • Lessons resume right where you left off. • Quiz answers shuffle every run, and the results screen lists the questions you missed with full explanations. Plus improved VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, and large-text support throughout — and a brand-new App Store gallery.
