Real-time tuner on real dizi tones. Fingering chart (low/middle/high registers). Long-tone breath drills that measure your tone stability and show how it changes over a session. First lessons: play three notes, then your first song with note-by-note play-along highlighting. Free proof moment: check that the tuner genuinely hears your real dizi on your device before you ever pay.
PRO (Unlock with Subscription)
The full graded dizi curriculum with guided play-along, including the traditional pieces 茉莉花 (Jasmine Flower) and 沂蒙山小调. Technique lessons (tonguing, slurs, ornaments, breath). Stability progress over time. A progress report you can share with a teacher. Hulusi, bawu, and xiao share the dizi curriculum today, each with its own fingering, range, and timbre. Works offline.
The Honest Grader
Measures cents accuracy, timing, and breath stability on-device, in real conditions. When it can't hear you clearly it says so — never a false "wrong note." It tracks whether your tone gets steadier session over session, and shows you the trend.
Pricing
The tuner, fingering charts, the free "can it hear me?" check, and your first lessons are free. Dizi Pro: $4.99/month or $39.99/year, each with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled; manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.
Microphone
The app listens through your mic to grade in real time. Audio processed on-device, never recorded unless you tap Record.
