GolfHandicapGo is the simple way to run social golf competitions with friends, workmates and golf groups.
Designed specifically for social golfers, GolfHandicapGo helps organisers manage players, attendance, playing groups, results and handicaps without the complexity of official golf systems.
Key Features
Social Handicap System
GolfHandicapGo uses a unique group-based social handicap system designed to keep competitions fair and enjoyable for players of all abilities.
Handicaps are adjusted using a sliding scale based on competition results within your own group. Players who perform well see their handicap reduce, while players who struggle receive additional strokes, helping keep the competition balanced over time.
Unlike official golf handicaps, the system is self-contained within your group and evolves based on the performance of the players you regularly compete against.
Official Handicap Games
Need to run a club event or official competition?
Simply create an Official Handicap Game and players can enter their current official handicap when accepting attendance. Official handicap games do not affect the app's social handicap calculations.
Attendance Tracking
Players can quickly accept or decline upcoming games, allowing organisers to see who is available at a glance.
Automatic Playing Groups
Generate playing groups in seconds using either:
• Random group generation
• Balanced group generation based on handicaps
Balanced groups help spread stronger and weaker players evenly across the field.
Competition Results
Record winners for:
• First 6 holes
• Middle 6 holes
• Last 6 holes
• Overall winner
Handicap adjustments are automatically applied based on results.
Handicap History
