WHAT IS INSIDE
Phone Away Zones: a Rio safety map by area and time of day, built to help travelers know when to keep the phone away.
Live Protection: opt-in notifications, location while using, precise location, and on-device motion checks for snatch awareness.
SOS: a fast safety flow that can include your location context when you ask for help.
Groups: create a private group, set a home base, choose a destination, and share location only when you turn sharing on.
Events: Rio picks and event cards can update from the live content feed without a full app update.
Emergency Numbers: Rio emergency contacts are available in the app.
The safety map is free for travelers. Sign in to save your profile, group, home base, and Guardian settings. Every signed-in account receives the free Guardian service.

Version 1.4 improves the native app experience: the full B.E Guardian landing page now opens first, profile name edits save and sync across the app, the bottom navigation fills the iPhone safe area correctly, and the native WebView is locked to normal zoom so returning from the BBE website keeps the screen and bottom menu at the right size.
