MixKings has a new look: a darker design, new type and calmer buttons throughout. What's new: - Memories have their own tab, with a photo grid. - Search shows a list of results while your shelves stay in place, in the Library, Pantry, Inventory and Bartender Mode. - Riff on your own recipes, and edit photos with crop, rotate and background removal. - Shelves remember whether you left them open or closed. - Group your Library by display status to see what's on your TV first. - Your TV menu can give every section its own column. - Nearby has featured venues and lets owners claim their bar. - Plus many smaller fixes and polish.

Friendly and Competition The game modes now sit under two categories. Competition is the taste-off, renamed: the one mode where everyone makes a drink and tastes it before voting. Drink the winner and Build a menu sit under Friendly. Dedicated judges, if you want them Competition can now be scored by judges instead of by the players. Turn on dedicated judges and they join with their own code, score every drink from 0 to 10, and the points are revealed on the Apple TV. Leave it off and the players score it themselves, the way they always have. Hosts pick their own seat too: run the night without playing, sit in as a judge, or join as a competitor. The reveal belongs to the host now instead of firing on the last ballot, so you can hold the room before the results land. While voting is open you can see who the round is still waiting on, by username, on your own phone instead of up on the wall. If the app loses track of a live game you can resume it or end it rather than starting over, and only one game per host runs at a time. In the game Recipes now open the same detail sheet as the rest of the app, so you can save a drink you liked instead of only adding its ingredients. Vessel labels default to colour so nobody loses track of which glass is theirs, and allergen flags sit at the top of the drinks people are about to pour. The voting card leads with three standouts instead of nine facts. Signing up is quick again Creating an account no longer waits on an email verification step before you can claim your username. Share to MixKings Send a screenshot or PDF from any app straight into MixKings. It lands in your import inbox ready to turn into a recipe, and the inbox now follows your account across devices. Smarter recipe scanning Scanning a recipe that calls for a homemade syrup or cordial now captures that too. Both come in on a single credit, the component saves to your pantry, and it stays linked to the recipe that uses it. You pick the shelf for each one. Party game Entry order is shuffled every round, so the running order never hints at who submitted when. Taste-off hosts can label entries with numbers or colored dots, which makes matching drinks to tasting glasses far easier. The voting card reads faster: three standouts with up or down arrows instead of a wall of detail. Ties are settled by a repeatable rule rather than whoever submitted first. Round audio no longer drifts between rounds, and the end-of-round build is new. Freestyle rounds can be limited to what is on your shelves. Around the app Homemade ingredients carry a link arrow that opens the sub-recipe without losing your place. Apple TVs show the name you gave them when you choose where to play. Editors no longer close on a swipe, so a recipe in progress stays put. Claiming a username now confirms your email first. Unread and attention dots follow one consistent language across the app.
