What's new in 3.0.32 • New opening: a real flight photo for your discipline (paragliding, paramotor, hang gliding, trike, ultralight) when the app starts and on the sign-in screen. • Faster start: shorter wait on the opening screen and fewer network calls at launch. • Community feed sorted by landing time — whoever launches early and lands last shows up on top. Flights uploaded days later show "uploaded on". • "Flying today?" is more direct: instead of "Marginal", it shows the reason — "Windy", "Gusty", "Rain", "Strong thermals". • Flight track visible at any zoom level in Live and in the flight details (including long flights). • The iPhone "Allow paste?" prompt no longer appears when opening the app — only when you tap "Paste coordinate" in Routes. • Lighter profile pictures in the feed: less data in the field.

What's new in 3.0.31 • Wing and motor on Live: pilots following your flight now see the wing and motor you picked in pre-flight, next to your name and photo. • Take off silently: new option in Settings → Fly OFF. Nobody gets a notification when you take off or land, but you still show up on Live for pilots in the air. • Approximate location warning: if your phone is set to approximate location, pre-flight warns you and takes you straight to the settings. Without precise location the flight is not recorded. • Flights imported from IGC files now get the correct date and time. • Followers and following list: no longer goes blank after a connection failure, and you can pull to refresh. The search keyboard now closes when you tap outside. Happy flying!

Important fix for pilots who updated their iPhone to iOS 27. • The app opens normally again on iOS 27. In the previous version it closed right after launch. • No flights or data were lost: just update and sign in as usual. We apologize for the trouble. Happy flying!

• Cockpit voice: summary every 3 min (was 1) and new "Alerts only" option in Settings → Audio. • Audio vario no longer goes silent mid-flight. • In-flight map shows small towns and villages again. • Hazard report (kites, power lines…): Publish button always at hand, auto-scroll after picking a type. • "Navigate to" in landscape: search stays above the keyboard. • Cockpit map buttons now share one size, same as zoom. • Air traffic card in landscape: right size and free dragging. • Battery warning (Xiaomi & co.): buttons that don't overflow and "Already set up" to stop asking. • Live: pre-flight warns when it's turned off. • Diagnostics: flight log uploads even when the phone dies in flight.

Field fixes: • School: invite students by @username — they get an in-app notification and join with one tap. "Create link" no longer shows an error. • Landing detected faster with the phone still (Samsung), no false "GPS stuck" warning. • Sharing a flight on iPhone works on every screen. • Leaving Explore with the traffic layer on stops background polling (battery). • Partner news: the notification opens the story; new toggle in Profile › Notifications. • Store review prompt now shows after the 3rd flight.

• "Protect recording" now works: the button opens the system dialog to exempt XCFLY from battery optimization and, if the device declines, shows a step-by-step guide with the battery optimization screen. • Voice announcement interval is now configurable (30 s to 5 min) in Settings → Audio. • Fixes a blank screen when adding a wing or motor from the flight detail.

More resilient in-flight recording. • New pre-flight prompt to exempt XCFLY from battery restrictions, with step-by-step guidance for phones that kill background apps. • GPS: if the signal stalls with the phone in your pocket, the app now requests a fresh position every 45 seconds without you opening the screen. • Richer automatic diagnostics to investigate field reports. • Voice comms temporarily disabled.

Field fixes in this release: • Flight recording is more resilient with the app in the background or the screen off • Vario audio no longer goes silent mid-flight — sound recovers on its own • XC Planner ETA always moves forward (no more time travel) • Cleaner flight shutdown with the Radio open Fly safe!

ap and stability fixes. • Maps are back to normal — the previous tile provider started stamping a notice across every tile. Everything moved to Mapbox. Check sites, 2D replay, flight plan and route import. • Fixed two crashes when returning from the background (cockpit and radio bar). • A blank screen now shows the actual error instead of staying white. If you hit one, send a screenshot — the text identifies the cause. What to check: open the map over an area you've never flown (to force fresh tiles), background and resume the app with the cockpit open, and test the radio while switching screens.

Voice radio rebuilt + more stability • Voice radio overhauled end to end: stable reconnection, push-to-talk that never sticks, mic working with the screen off and Bluetooth headsets always connected • Same frequency = same room, always — pilots on 123.45 and 123.450 now hear each other • Join your friends' frequency straight from the Live map — perfect for retrieve drivers and friends on the ground • Recording: fixed a bug that prevented recording on some devices, plus protection against false takeoffs from GPS glitches • More accurate top speed (no false GPS spikes) • XC Planner: routes with up to 40 points and clear messages when a leg can't be flown (altitude limits vs wind) • Bigger zoom buttons at the top of the map column — easier with gloves and instrument mounts • Block or mute pilots right from their profile • Stability fix that reduces battery drain on long flights • Beta: a technical diagnostic is uploaded with each flight to speed up fixes Good flights!

Voice radio rebuilt + rock-solid recording • Voice radio overhauled end to end: stable reconnection, push-to-talk that never sticks, mic working with the screen off and Bluetooth headsets always connected • Same frequency = same room, always — pilots on 123.45 and 123.450 now hear each other • Join your friends' frequency straight from the Live map — perfect for retrieve drivers and friends on the ground • Recording: fixed a bug that prevented recording on some devices, plus protection against false takeoffs from GPS glitches • XC Planner: routes with up to 40 points and clear messages when a leg can't be flown (altitude limits vs wind) • Bigger zoom buttons at the top of the map column — easier with gloves and instrument mounts • Block or mute pilots right from their profile • Beta: a technical diagnostic is uploaded with each flight to speed up fixes Good flights!

Fixes and improvements in this build: • Flight recording (critical Android fix): on devices without microphone permission the GPS failed to start and flights were not recorded — fixed. The app now also detects and restarts the GPS if it fails before takeoff, alerting the pilot. • Recording is never interrupted mid-flight anymore: any accidental-recording check happens at landing only. • XC Planner: routes with up to 40 points (previously 12). When a leg can't be solved, the message now explains the real reason — altitude limits (with terrain and ceiling numbers) or headwind too strong. • XC Planner: "Create Route" button next to Import GPX, editable route name on import, waypoint renaming, and past dates blocked. • Route builder: fixed tapping to add waypoints after switching the map layer. • Beta: the app uploads a technical diagnostic along with each flight to speed up fixes. What to test: arm pre-flight and fly normally, checking the recording; in the XC Planner, import and calculate large routes (14+ points) and try the altitude limits.

What's new in 3.0.15: • Far more reliable flight recording: the app no longer interrupts a recording in progress — low paramotor flying is never mistaken for a car mid-flight. • If your iPhone closes the app mid-flight, it now resumes the same flight when it comes back — even when flying below launch altitude. • Accidentally recorded a car ride? It uploads flagged for review and the app keeps watching for your takeoff. • No more endless loading screen: if reading saved data fails, the app recovers on its own and takes you to the login screen — no reinstalling needed. • Stability and performance improvements.

What's new in 3.0.14: • More reliable automatic recording: the app keeps watching for your takeoff even after discarding the car ride to launch — your flight never goes unrecorded. • More accurate wind: the estimate no longer drifts on transition after circling (trim/throttle changes). • Login: fixed the issue that left the app stuck on the loading screen. Your session now renews itself and, if it expires, you go straight to the login screen — no need to clear app data. • Aircraft window: drag the traffic card anywhere on screen, just like the wind rose. • Bigger city names on the map. • Reordering waypoints in flight: drag by the handle — works on the first try, even with gloves. • The takeoff chime no longer plays when switching waypoints.

XCFLY Radio — voice comms right in the app: • Talk to your group on a frequency, in flight or from the ground (new home screen card) • Transmit light: red when you talk, green with the name of who's talking • Radio-style silence gate with live calibration, tuned for engine noise • Major microphone fix on iPhone XC Planner & Copilot: • Arrival time and fuel per leg, plan summary and direction comparison • Wing speed and trimmer options in recalculation limits • Saved plans keep their forecast: review it as computed, or recalculate anytime • Units in km, miles or nautical miles And more: • Air traffic: tap an aircraft for details, route and destination • Routes: invert, un-mark a reached waypoint, delete with confirmation • Redesigned equipment screen with maintenance editing and notes

What's new in this version: • "CABPP Pilot" badge: link your account to CABPP and earn an exclusive badge — already linked? You get it automatically • Pilot journey: see every level, where you stand and how far to Legend • Easier NOTAMs: search by school name or number (e.g. E3156/26), see the code written on each circle on the map, and tap a notice in the list to highlight it • Pick the map type (terrain, satellite…) right on the NOTAM screen • Other pilots' profiles open much faster • Group rankings now count every member flight • Stability fixes in the cockpit and search

What's new in 3.0.10: • New Pro Plan screen: see Free vs Pro with a photo of every feature — tap and swipe to explore 3D Replay, Thermals, XC Copilot, the route planner and much more. • Redesigned fuel gauge, now shaped like a real paramotor tank. • Stability and layout fixes across screens, map and cockpit. Fly safe!

• Bulletproof recording: a frozen GPS no longer ends your flight on its own — the app detects the freeze, restarts the sensor automatically and warns you on the lock screen. • Watch live: new card on the home screen opens a live map with everyone flying right now — tap a pilot to follow their flight. • Redesigned XC plan: waypoints as goals outside the cards (timeline style), current leg highlighted and completed legs checked off. • In-flight recalculation limits: view and adjust min/max altitude, wing and terrain right in the plan — then recalculate instantly. • Placing a point while flying is easy now: the map no longer slides under your finger during a long press. • Insight instruments mini mode: two extra taps turn the box into a compact line ("6400 rpm"), freeing up screen space. • Faster wind: real wind shifts show on the compass in ~20-30s, without losing stability. • More reliable flight sharing (if the image fails, the link still goes out) and Paratrike filter in the rankings. • CABPP integration: link your account in Settings and submit flights to the confederation automatically. • Polish: return-home button visible before takeoff, long pilot names on a single line, aligned group comparison table and Rescue Mode screen always on.

• Points of attention on the map: long-press the map to report kite lines, house thermals, rotor, cables and more — with photos, community votes and details for pilots in flight • Live chat: send messages to pilots flying right now and follow the cheering in real time • Real fuel tracking: enter liters at takeoff and landing — the app computes fuel burned and liters per hour • Flight notes: keep the details of every flight • Hour meter and total hours per gear, with average burn per wing and motor • Community ranking on the Home screen — top flights in the spotlight • Route planning revamped: build your XC right on the map, with direction and distances • Like comments — and see who liked them • Change the gear on an already-saved flight • Rescue mode: the support car shows on every pilot's map • Power lines on the map — worldwide coverage • Flight details: drag across the charts and watch the dot run along the track • Revamped 3D replay and giant flights (700 km+) opening without a hitch

• More reliable automatic flight recording: takeoff is now detected consistently, whether your screen is on or off (phone in your pocket). The takeoff run is recovered even when detection kicks in a few seconds late. • Refreshed live-tracking view: continuous flight trail, cleaner pilot markers, and a smoother 3D map. • Stability improvements and minor fixes.

• More reliable flight recording — including takeoff detection with the screen off and the phone in your pocket. • Smoother live tracking: pilots glide across the map instead of jumping. • New terrain-based height above ground (AGL), on-device and offline. • Configurable cockpit units: feet, knots and miles. • Fixed "distance to takeoff" and added a return-to-launch line. • Nearby schools now appear side by side on the map. • Bigger like and comment buttons on the flight detail. • Various stability improvements and bug fixes.
