Locate local nodes, post missed connection signals, and chat securely in a flat retro environment inspired by classic Y2K internet culture.
CORE FEATURES:
• LOCAL VENUE NODES: Search and check in to real local establishments using geolocation. View the location's Missed Connection Wall and see other "fans" checked in there.
• THE BLIND HANDSHAKE: To prevent spam and maintain safety, you cannot message someone directly. If you spot a post written about you, submit a "handshake claim" describing a detail only you would know (e.g., what you were wearing). If the author accepts your proof, the chat unlocks!
• MYSPACE-STYLE PROFILE SPACES: Customize your digital room. Set your mood, write your bio, choose your Top 8 friends, and unlock visual themes (Classic, Sunset, Cyberpunk, and Glitter).
• AIM PRIVATE CHAT: Once a handshake is accepted, chat in real-time inside a flat, nostalgic AOL Instant Messenger environment.
• PRIVACY & USER SAFETY: Features zero-tolerance automated content filtering, user reporting, manual blocking, and native screenshot protection to keep your local nodes safe and clean.

• BAR PAGES: The revamped bar page layouts are now fully optimized for mobile screens. View Polaroids, check-in details, and top fans without any layout bleed.
• COOLDOWN CALIBRATION: AIM-style chats and claiming proofs are now fully secured and rate-limited server-side.
